Maybe this is a time where the organization should step up for Luis?

What? This is stupid. You don't let someone stomp your face. What in the hell does Lebron have to do with this?

Bad retaliation move, Kevin.... Not classy......

But it is a no brainer to say you wouldn't want to have him over Scola if he was actually available.

I doubt the league will sweep this one under the rug. They have more to gain by punishing Love (would reinforce the league's image as a zero tolerance for violence regardless of star status) and everything to lose by letting it go.

Though, I think when Love apologized to Scola, Scola was less inclined to complain about it. Smart move by Love for apologizing, class move by Scola for letting it go.

The league cannot afford to sweep this under the rug because discipline for future incidents will be judged by this one. I seriously doubt they do Love or the T-Wolves any favors, especially since he is white. This is exactly the kind of trash they cannot overlook.

Thank you! It was no doubt intentional. Like others have said before, if it really was intentional then the natural thing would have been to AT LEAST look back and offer some sort of apology (hand gesture, offering to pick him up). None of that happened and Love ran off like nothing happened because he knew he did it intentionally.

I just hope Stern grows a pair and at the very least a 2 game suspension.

I hate the fact that even the fans are kind of apathetic at this point with the NBA when it comes to league sweeping things under the rug nowadays. Its almost like that is what we have come to expect and just take it.

More Love, on Scola: "I got kind of tripped up. ... It happened to be his face, just like in Houston where it happened to be my groin."

The thing is, that when Luis hit Love in the jumblies.....it was unintentional, this was PURELY intentional.

    Big difference.

Reading a few other forums, and other fans say it was unintentional is blasphemy. That could have been a dangerous play.

Again, I was shocked no one stepped up to Scola's behalf and retaliated in some way or form. Again, disgusting move by Love.

Scola had nowhere else to throw the ball.

I had nowhere else to step.

    **** happens.

    Signed,

    - Kevin Love

So Love admits in his twitter that it was retaliation. He should be suspended without a doubt. Wouldn't it be nice...if he got suspended. I'd be picking up good vibrations, god only knows.
