Tony has pretty good court vision and decent defense.

You can win with both. You can even win with crapass Derek Fisher.

But overall Lowry is just better

 

Wrong..... Tony Parker can get you 7 to 8 assists while scoring 49 FG percentage....

Brooks get his 5 assists and 44 FG......

 

Parker's game is surrounded around getting into the paint effectively while Aaron is shooting jumpers all day...... getting into the paint only when opportunity knocks on the door

At least no one is starting dumb threads about McHale being better than Adelman anymore. Adelman and Rubio's arrival have turned a .200 team into a .500 team that quick. And they're going to keep getting better and better.

Les and Morey thought the team would be better with a coach who "preaches defense" and uses Morey's statistics. Bad call on that one. Lowry and Adelman's talk afterwards was very telling.

 

I dont see how Adelman could possibly do better here with Scola and Martin being so inconsistent.

Truth is both coaches are good and we need to improve the players

 

Weren't you the one saying that we can't compare Rick Adelman last year and Mchale this year cuz they played different opponents and had different rosters?

Now you're saying Lowry last year and Brooks during his MIP were equal simply because they had the same record? Brooks during his MIP year had Tmac and Yao for much of the regular season, Lowry had Chuck Hayes and Kevin Martin last year.

Why do you always flip flop on your arguments?

 

You need to do a better job of understanding arguments and get your facts straight before you post.

There is no changing the fact that Adelman is a better coach, nor is there changing the fact that he is not here any more.

You could be right, but I don't think win/loss is a good argument in Brooks' favor. The Rockets were 42-40 with Brooks starting in 09-10. They were 39-32 with Lowry starting last year. Moreover, this doesn't take into account that the Rockets won more games with their bench in 09-10, and they won more games with their starters last year. This is illustrated by the fact that in 09-10, with Brooks on the floor the Rockets outscored the opponent in 39 games and were outscored in 41 games. However, last year with Lowry on the floor the Rockets outscored the opponent in 47 games and were outscored in only 24 games. That's a big difference.

Brooks was good but IMO not Lowry good during the first 15 games of this season.
One thing is for sure though, Lowry won't be sulking because of the contract situation real soon, he is more focused.

 

Yeah, I wish he could sustain that level of play like elite PGs do.

Yeah, Lowry never sulks or calls out his coach in the media for not making adjustments or tosses balls at refs in a pick up game.

He is a model player..

He is not a model citizen but he understands what he did wrong hopefully and I am sure he won't follow sulking with more sulking and more sulking.

Well he needs to get better at shooting the basketball again...with only Kmart and Luis as consistent scorers we need Lowry to get his jumper back.
