Kevin Love intentionally steps on Luis Scola's face

An apology may make things better between him and the Rockets, but it only calls more attention to this incident. A suspension is coming, and it better not be a 1 game suspension because it could be unintentional. Either it is, or it isn't. It is and it should be 3 games.

I believe only the Rockets bench, and the spectators saw it. They were the last two to get down the court. The bench didn't do anything because of how strict the rules are if a player leaves the bench.

Just because someone apologizes doesn't make things right. Andrew Bynum apologized to JJ Barea after he clotheslined him in the playoffs last year and still got suspended 5 games. That didn't erase the fact that it was bush league play. You don't have to be a notoriusly cheap or dirty player to warrant punishment

 

Scola is soft.

 

Maybe this team isn't as close to each other as those other Rockets teams.

Scola is not soft. Scola in retaliation to plays like this are to play even harder and with more hustle. Pau Gasol's retaliation would be to sit on the ground and cry.

He may be completely undervaluing the concept of team chemistry.

 

Did anyone else see Lowry go up to Adelman after the game? They had a pretty good little convo and Lowry probably brought up the Love incident. Adelman probably told Love in the locker room to go apologize. Regardless he did apologize but still doesnt change my mind on his scumbagness.

Guys in the league are getting comfortable elbowing & stomping him in the face. No retaliation. The guy is a friggin punching bag. He needs to respond. How many times is he going to turn the other cheek? NO STONES!

 

Scola reacted to that play in exactly the right way. His intensity tripled and he was running hard up and down the floor and making positive plays. After a very poor 1st half, I thought he played very well in the 2nd.

Anybody else wish we still had somone like artest on the team to get in Klove's face after that? Team of p*ssy's. I understand having class and trying to stay away from fights but come on. Where did the fire and passion go? The nba looks like a damn computer game nowdays, a whole bunch of robots with no heart. This is why i respect a team like the celtics, even though they look like duche's they're playing with they're hearts.
