I'm not a big Vazquez fan. I believe this will be on hbo after dark series, btw I'm waiting to see Guillermo Rigondeaux vs Donaire. I also would LOVE to see Abner Mares vs Donaire, but don't know if that is going to happen. I love the way Mares fights.
BTW, I believe that donaire is eyeing a move to featherweight where: - gamboa - jaunma - mikey garcia - chris john - Orlando Salido all await. What a FANTASTIC division this will be. Especially if Rigondeaux also moves up. This division will OWN boxing.
It's on HBO. Donaire-Vasquez should be a good one. Both fighters and their wives have had a little twitter war going on, days leading up to the fight.
I hope vasquez can hang with donaire but I doubt if it will happen. vasquez has been too much under the shadow of his father and while he is an excellent fighter, not sure he has the hunger to beat donaire, who is becoming a living legend, especially his knock out of the raging bull.
He was arrested on January 22. Ring magazine, which is owned by De la Hoya, conveniently released the story today.
