The immaturity on this site is becoming a major problem. The name calling, the lack of reasoning. Ex: BeechSpicer, HOUROCKETS713

probably nothing- or at the most, trade for some role players that we are gonna let walk away after 1 or maybe 2 seasons

Knowing Morey the fans should not expect a big move. Something along the lines of eating a big contract for one year or a draft pick.

A major part of why I was a lurker for a decade rather than a poster .... Maybe I should go back to lurking and selectively reading threads / posts.

As for what I think the Rockets will do come the trade deadline - I have no idea.

Morey has set himself up with a multitude of options for the deadline as well as the coming offseason.

I do expect the non-extended 09ers to be moved .... for conditional second rounders if nothing else.

Thabeet is worthless .... other than an expiring , doubt he nets anything.

Jordan Hill is a decent bench player with potential to be a really good 4 (Damn quit playing the guy at the C spot.) Might land a lottery protected pick for him from a contender who needs a backup big.

Twill is .... an enigma. The guy has all the athleticism one could ask for .... but doesnt really have a feel for the game. There is a reason A.Johnson , Adleman and now McHale benched the guy but I have a feeling he .... Could help .... someone.

Twill is not an enigma.... those players in the mold of JR Rider have amassed since the beginning of time......
Head cases or near head cases....

Somehow in my inebriated state .... I hit post before I was finished ....

Johnny Flynn ..... there might be a playoff team who could use a backup waterbug PG whop dribbles the shot clock away. Doubtful but possible.

If they move the 09ers for Kaman , its simply to inrease slightly the cap space the ave for next season as they can take back 150% of any salary they recieve in return.

I dont believe Kaman over Hill makes them .... Better enough to make a deep run in the playoffs , tho that move may net them a spot in the post season.

I'd like to see the team move Scola and his toxic contract (Not toxic today but will be in the future. Dont get me wrong , I love me some Scola.) to a team a scoring big off the bench away from a deep playoff run for a first round pick and possibly a player with upside .... because I dont see Scola as part of the future of this team.

(I wonder if Les has a vision for how this team reaches the WCFinals or beyond or if he's simply concerned with asses in seat's , if the latter is the case he needs to take a look at the empty seats this season)

OK , IM done now .....takin another swig of Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey and hitting Submit Reply.

Was Kevin Martin a move to eat salary or obtain a draft pick? The move for Lowry? Scola? Outside of the gamble Morey took on the high '09 draft picks, Morey has done a superb job of not eating big contracts that hinder the flexibility
the team has and has positioned the team to have ultimate flexibility/cap space this offseason.
