Please read the first page. All trade scenarios are supposed to be realistic.

You do not have 2k mode on with forced trades on.

what surprises me the most in the random trade ideas thread is that people are honestly pitching trades to teams that have no need for a trade. we don't have assets that winning teams want (outside maybe bench players that we'll just get cap relief for). a lot of people always talk about Iggy from the 76ers and Granger from the Pacers. What in the hell could we possibly offer to two teams that will very possibly end up in the #3,#4 slots for the playoffs?

we're in a position to milk pitiful organizations that are going no where and they know it. Kings, Bobcats, Wizards, Raptors, maybe the Warriors and Pistons. the teams that are high payroll and disappointing want near instant impact players for dumping their troubles. Nets, Knicks, Orlando, Celtics. They're having ****ty seasons, but they want to be buyers and want to quickly rearm, not blow up (no matter how unrealistic that may be for some of these squads).

Martin to the Bucks for Udrih/Delfino and Bucks first round pick.

Why we do it - It gives us a very good chance of getting a top lottery pick this year whether it be from the Knicks or the Bucks and maybe we get lucky and the Cavs take the 8th and we end up with two lottery picks. It also gives us Udrih as a backup next year if we let Dragic walk.

Why the Bucks do it - They really don't have a second scoring option right now with Bogut out and are playing Livingston at the two which is not his natural position. With Martin they can put Livingston on the bench and let him be the backup pg that he should be. Not sure what the SJack situation is down there but if it gets straightened out they could throw him in at the 3 and have a solid 1-3.

    Hou-Scola, Lee, Flynn
    Mil-Jackson, Sanders, Harris

Hou-We decide we're sticking with Martin. This makes Lee less necessary (and we may not be able to pay him enough next year). Rockets get rid of Scola's contract, start Ppat. Hill/Morris/Parsons as backup. Jackson is our scorer off the bench and gives us a shot of nastiness. Sanders is our project shotblocker. Harris is a player we should have drafted and could become a star.

Mil-They get rid of Jackson. Scola doesn't hurt them as much on D because their team D is very good. They get Lee to replace Jackson. Flynn is snuck in there to make salaries match.

I think ryan anderson would be a really nice addition to this team, a good replacement for scola. I think they would listen to an offer especialy since lee and dwight are fond of eachother and since they are trying to pair dwight with some friends so he wont leave ala glen davis maybe we could sneak in a 3 way trade with scola, lee and whatever else for anderson. He's tearing it up this season averging 16 and 7.

I wonder if the rox would go as far as to take hedo off they're hands for anderson. Hear me out... Hedo has 3 years left on his contract and scola has 4, hedo only makes 3 more million then scola does. This isn't bad, hedo could take lee's mins and come in for bud whenver he's being inconsistant and provide scoring off the bench. Here's my proposal http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine
    Lowry/Dragic
    Martin/Budinger
    Parsons/Turkoglu
    Anderson/Patterson
    Dalembert/Hill
I think this group would do well.

We have no real reason to get rid of Scola's contract because we can always amnesty him and he is pretty much the only player on our team we would use it for. Throwing CLee into that deal makes it worse.

Also Jackson is apparently in the doghouse there and has been getting a lot of dnp coach's decisions. We already have a player like that in TWill and don't need a second one that makes $10MM.

No chance we take on that Hedo contract if Howard isn't included. The difference between the Scola and Hedo contract is that we can amnesty Scola.

I think its worth it. were not getting howard and i doubt we would ever amnesty scola, plus we would still have enought cap room to sign a max contract with that team i proposed this offseason. So if we were to get all miami in this b*tch, we could sign a star to a max contract and trade for another one with lowry and martin ect. So... yeah i think the trade is pretty dope

We wouldn't have enough for a max contract with all the players you listed.

    Lowry - 5.7
Dragic is a free agent that will get at least 5
    Martin - 13
    Bud - 1
    Parsons - .8ish
    Hedo - 11.4
    Anderson - 3.2
    Patterson - 2
    Dalembert - 6.7
Hill - 3 or so but not sure
    Morris - 2

You have us with about $53 Million in salaries. Still dope ?

Dragic would be gone, hill gone, we save 2 mill in that trade so thats an extra 10 mill for us right there from your countings. With williams flyn gone thats another 5, with us having almost 1 mill in cap space currently that leves us with around 15 right?

    Lowry - 5.7
    Martin - 13
    Hedo - 11.4
    Anderson - 3.2
    Morris - 2

Those are the only 5 players we must have on the books under your trade so that gives us 35.3 which under the current cap would gives us about $13MM in cap space if we relinquish the rights to everyone else and DM doesn't come over. Cap might go up but who knows by how much.

What is the teams cap? like how much do we have to spend until were over it? anyways its whatever, in the end the trade is indeed dope :p Anderson at23 with his production would be a great additon to the team. I dont expect the rox to sign dwight or dwill so whats the point of having max cap space? in the end we have enough cap space to add quality players and the same "assets" to trade minus scola's amnesty-able contract and with the addition of anderson.

Trade for an injured Bogut. It won't make much of a difference to the current Rockets frontcourt.<style type="text/css">
