haha...that's exactly what I was thinking. Can't wait for this to start. Hope they post construction cams so us out-of-town fans can follow the progress.
Important note: the student stadium fund vote (results will be announced today at noon) has no bearing on the start date. if the vote passes, the hofheinz renovation will begin at the same date, however. otherwise it will have to wait until the football stadium is complete.
A&M won't play UH, OSU won't play UH, LSU won't play UH. why don't you just list every team that UH doesn't play? UH fans have the napolean complex. Always trying to compare themselves with UT in particular. "we did better than UT this year!" or "how come UT no schedule UH". We all know the reason why
What sir is the reason why? Also, I don't give a **** about what UT does. I'm not trolling in a UT thread.
LOL, no...I know you're from Ohio, but down here OSU means Oklahoma State. Even though I'm an Aggie, I'm rooting for UH to do well this year. It's always fun when the Coogs are playing good football. I was even considering going to the Sugar Bowl if things had worked out for you guys.
Are you a rice fan? I don't know why you come to a thread about uh looking to get pissed. Maybe you like a little golden sprinkle.
haha I'm from Houston I thought he might've meant Ohio State, since they've played UT a few times in the past decade (ie, the poster was naming teams UT played that UH hadn't). It just seemed odd to me that he'd cite the one(?) big 12 school that UH has played regularly over the past few seasons.
So how many is it going to seat? Ultimately that's whats going to attract the Big 12 or another major conference.... I do think UH can fill a 55-60k + stadium but not versus the Big East with schools on the other side of the country. THe big east doesnt exactly travel well heck last year there just a handful of Uconn fans down here for the bball NATIONAL TITLE GAME.. And honestly I dont see UH fans getting crazy about a big east schedule much more than a CUSA unless of course they're winning big time ala this year...But add in some regional fanbases that travel and schools that just dont like each other than this place will be packed on a regular basis no matter what the records are.. I hope the Big 12 does invite UH. They've filled up their current stadium/won quite a bit/ and now building a new stadium..I'd much rather see UH as opposed to just about any other school thats been rumored for the big 12....

Not looking forward to playing at Reliant on 9/29, but it will be fun to stomp another Cougar paw shaped mudhole in Rice's azz. I'd say 8-4 is reasonable, and 9-3 is certainly within reach. Depending on Piland's play and who our last OOC game is.
