Well I meant if you haven't played well, we've seen Mchale bench key players in the 4th. I like the mentality personally...
This is becoming a Rocket's curse. Each year the bench player will outplay the starter, and become the starter. And the cycle continues.
If he liked winning he'd realize that he should get along with the coach and quit pointing the finger at other player. His act as of late reeks of immaturity and for you to attempt to defend it is irrational.
Big talk for a team out of the playoffs. It seems to me that they are winning (sort of) in spite of McHale. Do you see differently? McHale is a great guy, but a rookie coach.
Your speculation is irrational. Show me some concrete evidence that Lowry doesn't "get along with the coach." Finger pointing? Frankly, I haven't seen that either. I've seen Lowry tell guys where they are supposed to be, but he has always done that. He should get on Scola's ass for doing absolutely nothing this year. Or maybe he could tell him that he is a foot shorter and averaging more rebounds per game...
Maybe the problem is Lowry is TOO mature. He cares so much about winning that it makes him really mad when there are defensive breakdowns.
I think he will be fine but is frustrated with the coaching right now. Adjustments aren't being made to improve the offense and defensive adjustments not being made like the spurs game when Ducan was allowed to score again and again. I sure hope Kelvin Sampson is better coaching the defense than he is as a shooting coach. On the video with CP when he was trying to coach his shooting he was giving CP tips that you would give a 12 year old kid. If CP doesn't know what Kelvin was trying to teach him by now he might as well leave the NBA.
