    the thing you need to understand and which is why i know this team will be just fine without kevin martin is hes not a star, and thats why we will never get a star for him so why not go after someone that can bring in some defensive intensity and rebound ability and im not talking about chris kaman cause as we all know david stern secretly hates the rockets and will try to suck us dry on that trade, which is why a deal hasnt been reached yet. If we are serious about making a move for someone then we are going to have to offer something big like kevin martin. and i feel comfortable letting him go. If you have any other opions on who we should target then please do tell. But the time has come for us to make a move and kevin martin is that move. Bottom Line

    Wait, what? I never said this team couldn't survive without Martin. I'm just pointing out that T-Mac and Martin are completely different players on completely different teams. So stop trying to compare them as if they are equal.

    what do you think this thread was about. im not shredding him i havent said one thing that isnt already obvious. the guy can score but anyone that shoots 23 times a game, example courtney lee whos putting up 14 points a game with less shots and less playing time can put those numbers up, plus hes younger and has room to improve with more playing time. Thats why i said target a player like josh smith for the pf position to bring the defensive intensity and rebound ability we are lacking from scola playing there.

    get off k marts jock long enough to realize that he aint cutting it here and his style of play doesnt fit houston or mchale system. Thats why buds sitting on the bench cause he doesnt play defense and only wants to shoot threes. Parson gets starting gig and its all because he brings the defensive intensity this team needs and although hes not a scoring threat he still rebounds and gets steals. extend your game farther then just shooting and maybe i might have better things to say about kevins game.

    Huh? Dragic is barely above average. It's disappointing, and depressing, that Lowry's been playing worse.

    I would make this trade... our defense gets better and we get more athletic. Two things we need in this generation of NBA basketball more than anything. Our offense would still be able to score a lot too.
