same font..same colors...i barely see any difference...they should make each all star game custom to the city the all star game is in so that the jerseys look significantly different each year.
yea dude exactly...those are classic, i remember those clearly. If you put all these blue/red ASG jerseys over teh past years next to each other...no one would be able to tell which one took place where, what year..etc. no identity.
yeah, and it was really cool to see the whole mix of jerseys on the court. The jerseys back then looked so cool. has 90s written all over it.
Some really nice applications on there, though I'm a little 'meh' on the overall design. That 'hardwood heather' pattern is quite subtle though, shame if all that work went into it and you can't even spot it on the tv. I suppose it's all in the details. Looking forward to seeing them on the floor though as it makes all the difference. According to uni watch, the compression (uber-tight) fits will be available as well. I'm sure Dwight is all over it. http://espn.go.com/espn/page2/story/_/id/7530477/nba-all-star-game-uniforms-warmups-unveiled-uni-watch
That was such a long, long time ago. They should have a consistent All-Star uni, imo, not change it every year. That way, there'll be value putting the jersey on.
These were the best Jersey's ever! Not just the nostalgia factor but they're so clean and actually look like an All-Star game jersey. Some things are better left unchanged. This is one of them.
Yeah, they did it again in '02, Stevie's first appearance in the ASG: Here's a shot of MJ and 24-yr-old Kobe during that '02 weekend (Kobe w/ the American flag kicks):
I too like the individual jerseys for the All-Star games, but lets face it - Releasing new All-Star jerseys every year is just a way for the NBA to sell more Jerseys every year.
Everybody looks so young except Tim Duncan. He still looked old then and he still looks the same today. LOL @ Kobe's spaceboots.
i liked the commercial for them tho <iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-wByQYPrRmI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
