Are people r****ded, Blake dunked on his team mate, what the hell do you want KD to say. Would Lowry be praising the dunk if it happened on Scola?
Durant could've contested with a hard foul..I mean Blake did just obliterated your teammate. It doesn't have to be a flagrant..Durant is long enough to contest or make him earn it. He also lied to the press saying he got pushed.
You have to stand up for your teammate. The dunk (yes it was) was impressive but you have to back your teammate up. Yeah, he mad.
I respect him for sticking up for his teammate. I despise him for running away from the other dunk and making a lame excuse.
The dunk was an offensive foul on Griffin. He used his arm to push Perkins down on the throwing the ball attempt.
The reporter asking lebron about the dunk at half time said "and John Lucas is not a short man" I rofled As for Blake's dunk......overrated. Chris Mullin said it may be the best dunk of all time, what a joke
people who didn't see the dunk as it happened in the game will not appreciate it in its full glory. It is way more impressive when seen in normal game time.
Vince Carter is also the best dunker in history. Lucas is short but how many NBA players have done that in a game?
Blake is becoming a Tebow like figure in basketball. Everything he does now gets overhyped. It was a great dunk don't get me wrong but I wouldn't even put it in the top 10 all time and maybe not even 20.
This has to be true and explains why I don't get the superhype. I've seen the replay in slow-motion and in real-time with the announcers call. It was a very good dunk but I've seen much better.
Kirk Snyder did it before on Vanilla Wafer <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/sQGa4aGvFpo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I dont understand people. I'm not a Griffin fanatic or anything, but when I saw the replay of that dunk I literally yelled "OH MY GOD!" There have been better and more memorable dunks in NBA history, sure... but seriously... he was SO high. More than head above the rim height, threw it downward, TOUCHED THE RIM (lol @ people), with a crammed body into and over Perkins. It was awesome. He did use his off arm, but its not like there wasnt body contact there already from KP. great dunk from a very athletically gifted player.
I dont understand people either, It doesnt matter if thats KD's teammate or not, if he doesnt like it, he doesnt like it. "have to love Blake's dunk" is not in his contract and hes a way better player than this Blake dude. So he doesnt like it, what can you do, bite his arse? Get a friggin life.
It's completely ungracious. He could have said, "Perkins did the exact right thing, and I like the way he tried to stop Griffin, but I have to admit that was a monster play by him. Perkins did everything right, but that was just a great play by Griffin, nothing to do but tip your hat to him and move on"
Sure it is. You can be fierce, competitive, but you don't have to exhibit poor sportsmanship. And I generally like Kevin Durant. I'm a supporter of his in general. I just think he didn't handle this as well as he could have.
