I can't get over how even the Raptors shoot more FTs than us. and the Suns.

Every one of the fouls on Duncan were fouls, imo. Most were poor positioning on the part of Jordan Hill.

Jordan Hill hit Tony Parker on the head.

Patterson checked him, Lowry was out of control and Pop can curse out everyone.

We didn't get any shooting fouls in the second half because we shot jumper after jumper after jumper. That, and Courtney Lee is deathly afraid of contact when he drives to the rim...

The Rockets settled for jumpers, and never established a post game.

    W=Spurs...

They're both primary jump shooting teams but we're obviously better. Significant drop off from last season. The botched trade may have a part to do with it. Show everybody that critisized Stern that K-Mart and Scola aren't valuable so they look better..

Well, Martin is certainly botching that for Stern at least. Dude is still lighting it up, showing he has plenty of game besides just drawing fouls.

What you said actually makes sense. sadly it always seems to happen to go that way out of coincidence somehow. Its good Martin is actually a good shooter though. He can score without their calls. Its just fishy they make this rule where it effects this team so much more than others. Then to top it off void a deal the Rockets would have made. I think they need to somehow pay the piper to this team so they dont look inappropriate when this is over.

For the safety of all what should we do as loyal Rocket fans?

Totally true. It's the Duncan effect.

But I'd like to win in spite of it, for once..

Martin scores in batches and usually does most of his damage in the first half. He has got to become more effective in the second half, particularly the 4th. Clutch stats pulled from 82games:

(4th quarter or overtime, less than 5 minutes left, neither team ahead by more than 5 points)

    Code:
    Scoring
    By 48 Min
    FG. 3.8
    FGA 18.9
    FG% .200
    eFG% .200
    Ast'd 33%
    Blk'd 20%
    FTM 10.1
    Pts 17.7

    Coach!

What are you thinking? We can never lose a game when we have a 20 point lead in the 3rd quarter. It now seems to be a trend. Adjustments have to be made and there's players on the bench that can keep the lead.

Martin would be great in a Ray Allen role of a big 3 where so much of the offense isn't dependent on him..Obviously, you have to get those big 2 to put him in that role. In Morey we hope.

KMart would be a beast playing with a legit number 1 player at the low post (D12). He is still what keeps our offense going. When KMart is not scoring our offense looks hapless against the better teams. The guy is averaging over 29PPG over the last 6 games despite missing freebies against eh Wiz and NYK.

I would oppose trading KMart if we don't get an all star calibre player in return

If KMart was bigger built and spoke to the media more often, he'd be classed as a Superstar.

He would be awesome as a 2nd or 3rd option, especially with a big man that is the number 1 option but as a Rocket, he should be trade bait.

I really wanted the Rockets to win the season series as a message to the Spurs and a confidence builder for this young team. it would have been a benchmark for the team.

they played the Spurs tough in all four games and had double digit leads in both road games, they just couldn't get it done in the second half.

these three recent losses taste horrible.

now it's up to conference/division record to determine any tiebreaker with SaS.

do we play the Mavs 4 times between now and the end of season?

unfortunately yes. the good news, jj won't drop 30 on us. The bad news, terry still will record his season highs against us.

The schedule shows three games against the Mavericks:

    March 24 @Houston
    March 27 @Dallas
    April 18 @Dallas
