If we trade for Kaman soon, can we flip his contract at the deadline or is there any kind of restriction on trading the same player again that soon?

In short Yes. If they are in the running for Dwight, flipping the 09 picks for Kaman might actually be an added asset.

Jason Smith is good but has Xavier Henry done anything worth mentioning in this league?

A game like tonight would have been a done deal with a guy like Kaman. We couldn't grab the rebounds or defend the middle.

Caveman is a big body that can shoot, defend and foul.

    Let's get him.

    Give up Jordan/Hasheem/Flynn or Twill

Take back Chris and a wing.

This. Whenever Dalembert steps off the court we get abused in the paint by players like Parker and Duncan. Dalembert also can't be effective when his fouls pile up like that because if he fouls out we have nobody.

Dalembert and Kaman are both great 25 minute a game centers. That is perfect for us this season.

I still would not give up the Knicks pick/Motiejunas/Patterson however.

I would squeeze scola in there. Scola,thabeet,patterson/hill for kaman. I would play kaman and dally together and whichever is left between patterson and hill off the bench in a 3 man rotation.

I hate that, but I think you are right....we could use the cap room by including Scola in there.....and what about Kmart for Gordon while you are at it?

He might be, but probably not, he is great value for his contract....a typical Morey player.

I would be willing to give up Budinger in the deal. He is what he is, a streaky bench shooter who can make open cuts and run the court but can't play defense. Morey can find more Budingers pretty easily.

Patterson won't even be offered. The media is hating on the Rockets hard right now. Throw in Pat like he's some second round scrub?, come on.
