Jordan Hill sucks and kevin martin is still not clutch when it counts

Jordan Hill sucks and kevin martin is still not clutch when it counts

So tired of watching our third quarter collapses. Its about as predictable and consistant as bills on the first of the month. Jordan hill cant guard his own shadow. He constantly gets pushed around in the post like a rag doll. He cant guard a pick and roll to save his life. Its time for us to seriously consider trading kevin martin. He continually plays no defense and is a constant no show when the game is on the line. Courtney Lee is far more athletic plays hands down better defense and can create space to take his defender to the hole. Not to mention he has a better shot. Time for some serious changes in this team. Starting with trading K mart and Jordan Hill.

    Just an observation

Budinger played 9 minutes without taking a shot.
    Scola was atrocious tonight.
Parsons plays good D but can't shoot.
There was no adjustment on Tim Duncan in the 3rd
And yes we got some really bad calls go against us.

...but we were in it right up until the end, shoes our fighting spirit.

Easier said than done. The fact is that the Rockets really are not that good and lack top end talent. You can only go so far with a bunch of role players. When Lowry isn't on fire, or one of the young guys dont step up, the Rockets will lose... especially on the road to a team that is as good as the Spurs.

Scola must be hurt... and short of Martin scoring (and doing little else), there is nothing that the Rockets can count on. Lowry is either exhausted or hurt as well.

I could see the Rockets struggling all year just to be a game or two over .500%... we simply do not have the horses. I wish Les would let Morey rebuild.
I dont know that it will matter much this year, it would be hard for us to get a top 8 pick even if we tanked, but over the last 2 years we would probably be farther along in the rebuilding.

I know I'm beating an old drum here but why dont they put twill in when they have trouble scoring? at least he can drive and get to the line.

Wow 5 TOs for Scola, only 4 points (2-7 FG) and Duncan dropped 25 on him. Turkobubu got in his ear during the first game of the season when he was still playing so hard. My guess is he said why are you playing so hard after this lockout....you have your money, and the team tried to trade you. All while Hedo is having a great year playing off of Dwight.

Anyways, Marting turned 29 and scored 29. I think he missed the last two shots on purpose.:p

Much better defensive effort by the Rockets. I can live with this loss. The Rockets need to work on their half court offensive execution. The Spurs were much crisper. And their bigs just outplayed ours, but nice game by Jordan Hill nevertheless. He battled and did about as much as you can ask for.

I know some of calls were not great, but I don't think we blew a large lead because of the refs, we just did not make adjustments on defense and looked unorganized on offense.

jump shot jump shot jump shot jump shot, everyone was settling, and it wasn't a result of the defense. They were playing straight up switch everything and deny the post and baseline screens, this team needs someone that can break down his man off a pick and roll, and can explode off those switches... Terrence Williams. For all his deficiencies and "rumours" of bad attitude, the guy brings what we lack, an athletic wing that can drive and finish with contact in the lane.

I didnt catch the lowry charge, so no comment.

There's always room for their own interpretation...IIRC, the spur was just set enough to give them the call. He wasn't squared up 100%, but they'll let that pass because Lee's half speed move made it easy for them to call a charge.

Watch Manu, he's the master of that play and will always side step, prefering to get a clane look over contact. Lowry, for example, prefers contact and will sidestep a bit and then run into the defender. Is that what happened tonight? He gets caught on that sometimes because it's too obvious. I hate when these guys play to be fouled so much. They're working harder, not smarter.

Parker made a lot of things happen down the stretch, too. Got a lot of good three point shooters open. Need to work on our defensive rotations to prevent that from happening, but more importantly, we need another big man to back up Dalembert so it's easier to defend the paint.

Honestly I do. If the rox had parker right now and we got these idiotic calls all the time, I would happily take parker (with lowry starting at 2 )

Watching the Clippers vs Jazz game. Man we need an inside scoring threat (Jefferson), or someone that plays way above the rim (Griffin). Not saying those two guys, but someone like them, because we can't keep depending on winning games with jump shots.

I just hate how kmart plays good the first 3 quarters and always fade in the clutch.

Great shooting without an inside game is fools gold...look at the Suns back then. Eventually, a team will die by the j's.
