AT&T announced a Feb 19 launch date the other day. This seems to be everything my Dell Streak tried to be. I am probably going to pre-order it, what do you guys think? http://www.slashgear.com/att-galaxy-note-lte-hits-stores-feb-19-for-300-30211238/ http://www.samsung.com/global/microsite/galaxynote/note/index.html?type=find
If or when it drops on VZW...I WILL HAVE IT. I have been waiting for any news of a US release since it was announced for the UK last year.
I already have a Galaxy Nexus (VZW -- through work), but I want to replace my AT&T iPhone with something. I think it might be this, especially since I'd never it as a phone.
That looks like an iPad. Why would anyone want to carry something that large around with them all the time. Wow
For people like me who text, gchat, and use their phones as a consumption device more so than a talking device, the larger screens make more sense.
The only down side is that Samsung is ditching their super fast and efficient Exynos processor and using Snapdragon S3s because Exynos don't play nice with LTE. Oh well...Lets hope the processor change doesn't hurt performance too much.
Touchwiz isn't even that bad. It's not Sense, that's for sure i use a Samsung Galaxy Player with TW4 and I think it's neat.
Yep, it comes with a pressure sensitive stylus that slides into the phone (they licensed Wacom's technology from their pads for this) -- pretty awesome.
For those of us who don't carry a purse, this size of phone makes no sense whatsoever. To each his own, though.
I don't have any issues fitting my Galaxy Nexus in my pocket, and this phone isn't much larger. It would be one thing if it was also very thick, but it isn't.
That's what she said. I was going to get a new phone today but I guess I'll wait it out a little bit longer! I've been waiting for this one especially in white.
I'm def going to pre-order this phone. I kinda wanted to hold out for the Xperia S or Ion but it seems as though those phones are a few more months away and I need a phone now.
You're better off with the Samsung then the Sony. Although Sony has been pretty good about giving their phones updates ever since the whole mess with the x10
You can replace or eliminate Touchwiz within 5 minutes. I actually kept Touchwiz on my tablet though. IMO its laggy.
