thanks, i think i'm going to run up to academy and see what they've got. thinking about a baby eagle 9915r.
Gun show by far. More selection, best prices. Plus you can handle and do whatever you want without getting a lesson from a know it all gun "expert" behind the counter. They don't carry them.
thanks, i think that's the 2011 schedule? if you click the link for the show it says the nest houston stop is the 11 - 12th. is it worth the wait? is it a 10-20% discount, more?
Oh ok my bad. 4th and 5th is in Pasadena 11th and 12th in GRB Pasadena is a little smaller than GRB. the best prices you find there, will be the best prices pretty much anywhere on new stuff from dealers. Used guns they will rip you like anywhere. I like it to avoid gun shops, I can't stand the salesmen there.
Yeah probably the best prices is to get it shipped to an FFL that charges a small transfer fee. What do you charge Ottomaton?
A while back I had a bad experience and quit doing transfers, but you can find someone to do it for $15 -$25 around town. Keep in mind that if the seller is outside Texas, there's no sales tax, which offsets the transfer cost. Gunbroker keeps on their site a list of dealers doing transfers, where you input your zip and it pops out a list by distance.
would that be the same place i would do my background check, how does that work? i am a first time buyer.
Why do you need a gun when you got one of these: I'm firing my gun right now. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/twEnoNA0fG0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Yeah you really need to trust the dealer though. Transfers are crazy the main gun stores charge $50 or more which just isn't worth it. Some even try to charge sales tax which isn't even legal I think. Depending on the cost of the gun the tax becomes a large factor.
Protection: Smith & Wesson 686 Beretta 92 FS Mossberg 590 FN FAL (not in the US) And various antique firearms from the Safavid, Mughal, and Russian empires.
Just random photos of some unknown person's firearms: I'm sure nothing remotely similar could be found under lock and key on my property. I wouldn't dream of owning a firearm.
Winchester Model 42? Model 42 are incredible shotguns. Whatever random person owns that is very lucky.
