anybody else think this guy is a bust? he's not good, and he was the 4th overall pick in 2010 draft. why does he still get the minutes from Adelman?

Definitely a bust. Time to get the 10' busts.

I didn't watch him much last year, but what I saw wasn't impressive. He never showed flashes of dominance, dynamic play or a great skillset that could carry him to a great NBA career. Too early to call him a bust, but if he continues averaging 6 pts and shoots under 40%/30%, the shoe probably fits.

Going forward with everyone healthy (esp. Beasley and Webster), we'll see how much he plays.

They also need to give him a good chance to succeed to determine if he has a future there. If he doesn't improve, his minutes will eventually decline.

They need to showcase him and trade him.

Time for Morey to collect 2010 busts.

    Probably because of his defense.

Because Derrick Williams can't play SG. Johnson sucks hard. The only reason he really gets minutes these days is because the Wolves don't have a consistent option at SG. Note how they were playing Ridnour at SG for much of last night, as they have no good options, and that let Martin go off.

The problem with Wes Johnson is he came in the league as an old rookie.

He is 24 already, going 25 this year. He is hitting his prime in a couple of years.

Getting older rookies is Morey's approach, since they're usually NBA ready right off the bat. Wes Johnson however....

Ah, didn't realize he was that old. I guess the term bust would safely apply.

He was suppose to be the Brandon Roy of that draft. I still have absolutely no idea if he's going to become a bust or if he' gonna break out.

highly doubt it. he's their future. as this thread note, wes johnson is bust. ridnour is no help to detroit. so basically it's beasley for monroe. I'd rather have monroe. I imagine the pistons would too. And the Twolves would too. Which is why it won't happen.

yup he can dunk over anyone.. just do some cross overs .. run past the defender and hit up on the shot stick and BAM FACIAL ... too bad he cant do that in real life...
