Would definitely vote yes if I would be a student there. Not one of those unexplainable price raises they have in other Universities where no student benefits from.

Maybe raise it to 50.25$ so that paulftsk can get the best Basketball gear available.

I thought for sure you were wrong on that account so I looked at each school's tuition information.

    I'll be damned,

    UH average: $4,600 per semester

    TAMU average: $4,200 per semester

That's so....odd to look at. I assumed and I would think most people would that UH would be much cheaper than A&M.

Damn, I remember when full-time tuition per semester was a little over $1500. Damn, times have changed.

I wonder if anybody here voted no on this. Seems like a highly unpopular stance.

I want to say that when I was a freshman at UH in '98, my tuition was about $1,200 - $1,400 a semester. My senior year at Texas State was $2,400/semester. The rate at which college tuition is increasing is ****ing insane.

Well in case it hasn't been mentioned anywhere else... the students overwhelmingly voted for the referendum.

So the stadium is on track. Exciting times.

Stadium was being built regardless of the students. The students allow UH to renovate Hofheinz and build a practice facility at the same time as new Robertson.

What sport would the practice facility be for? And where? Do they really need one? I don't remember the current one being in need of replacement.

A certain governor deregulated state tuition to pay for our budget deficits. State tuition started exploding after that.

The fees will also allow the university to build a dining hall in AAC. It will be open to all students but primarily used by athletes.

Basketball mens and womens, and volleyball. Necessary? Well, the major men's basketball programs have practice facilities for their exclusive use so for recruiting, yes it's a disadvantage to not have one.

The initial rendering has the practice facility between Cullen Blvd. and Hofheinz.

how about they just use the money from one of their other pointless fee cahrges

like the $90 they charged as an inconvenience fee for paying with a credit card

I recall when tuition at UH was $110-120 per semester. That's per semester, not per credit hour.

The price of tier 1 ;) I voted in favor and definitely can't wait to see us rock Boise at home.

That might be slightly misleading because that's just tuition, right? Most of my A&M friends racked up much more debt per semester after tuition in fees, even with super cheap housing.
