You know, this happens to. 500 teams. Man for man, wolves got more talent and a great coach. The rockets have a team full of solid players with limited ceilings. The raw players with the upside dont play. As constructed, the rox are headed again for the 14th pick

 

His roster is better than ours.....

Regarding the twolves future, they have about a 3 year window. If love likes the direction of the team, he will stay. If the team still sucks, they are back to the beginning and with their lottery pick that year, look for them to draft a pg.

 

Good observation. Hopefully we have removed Morey from office by then and have a new GM who can sign Kevin Love when that happens.

 

His roster is also 1 game below .500.

 

Yeah, ok...and.......let's see where they land......would you rather have the Rox roster or the Twolves?

Morey tries to go after free agents. No one wants to come here though. I really don't know how they are going to change that. Ill be here rooting for em though :grin:

 

They have so much more talent, a much better coach, an all star (something we can't seem to get) and they seem to be improving. However, as I said before, it depends on what they can do in 3 years. If they don't make the playoffs by then, bye bye love and the twolves suck again.

 

They might make the playoffs this year, they will get better as the year goes along, it takes a while to get the read and react offense down, but Rubio speeds that process up considerably.

If they do I'd take their team. They are the twolves though. They'll probably be 10th or 11th seed

Lose 1 game to a very talented Timberwolves team after beating recently - Clutchfans goes off again about how we will always have the 14th pick and we need to tank.

Lowry?

Lowry got closelined like 4 games ago early in the first and sat untill 2nd half. Think their is deff something wrong. You don't go from putting up close to triple double numbers night after night and then score 3 and 11 with 2 or 3 assists. Somethings not right. Think he was gonna make the all star team but I think he played his way out the last week. I hope he get's back to normal soon!

 

It's one game. We're bound to lose some games in a season. Even against teams we all think we should have beat. We have the same record as the Lakers currently.

 

For all you Morey-haters, hoopshype.com shows us at $30 million salary next season, and $21 million or so if we can get rid of Scola in a Kaman deal. I can't find what the cap is now, but that looks like $25, maybe $34 million in cap space next year. As for FAs not wanting to come here, DM is not going to squander it by overpaying anybody that isn't a serious star.

 

Yeah well even with all that cash its not impressing me his wallet will be so huge in the offseason if he still does nothing with it.
