Tmac is playing off the bench now. I doubt he can win the scoring title from the bench.
However he can qualify for 6th man of the year!

Want to do a tip jar bet?? oh never mind!

Never bet with a Tmac fan, he'll Tmac the bet!
    ;)

You are not going to win this argument about Crawford and Tmac. Bottom line is Crawford was not a good fit for the Hawks no matter how many points he put up. They didn't really benefit much from Jamal chucking up a lot of shots, they would much rather have Tracy run the offence and create for others.

Tmac though no as productive point wise, fits Atlanta's team a lot better.

Your argument is like saying Ariza is better than Courtney Lee, yes Ariza put up more numbers, but us Rockets fans would take Lee over Ariza any day of the week.

Not surprised. They obviously don't follow the Rockets like Rocket fans.

We probably don't know much about the Hawks unless it makes big news, like when Nique beat up that dude.

Dude. He didn't resign with the Hawks (as I posted with the espn column) cause he was asking for too much money. If it was significantly less like Tmac, they would have him back.

How is winning the 6th man of the year, not a good thing?

Because all Crawford did was jack up shots and kill the offensive flow of the Hawks.

All the Hawks fans are praising the brilliant move to get T-Mac.

    Example -

Of course he can't. He is a much older and different player now.

Do you think Atlanta signed him thinking he would score for them in heavy doses like Crawford? Do you think they let him go thinking McGrady could come in and do the same? OF COURSE NOT. They brought in McGrady for leadership and play making ability. From what I hear they are pretty satisfied with their move. They are ranked 4th in nba.com's Power Rankings and 4th in the entire League, only one team in the West with a better record. Portland, not doing bad, but only 7th in the Western Conference.

I have not heard anything bad about the Hawks aquisition of McGrady.

My point is they weren't brought in to do the same thing. Scorers tend to get that award.

That's great and all, but it doesn't answer the question. Will T-Mac win 6th man of the year like Jamal Crawford did?

I'm glad Hawks fans and fake Hawks fans are happy.

McGrady was a scorer. He won 2 scoring titles. Now he's not a scorer?

No, he's a facilitator. Again, watching games really helps understanding basketball. I know its probably a revelation to you but try it once.

No, he's not. Crawford is still a 6th man, will he be 6th man of the year again?

he's been steady. Can't ask for more at this point in his career. I believe that his contributions will be more evident in the playoffs.

surely winning the most improved played is a good thing right? too bad we dumped aaron brooks.

lamar odom won the 6th man of the year award. too bad the lakers wanted to trade him the following year.

    lol @ your failed logic.

Just checked this thread for the first time in over a month... Not surprised to see tinman still posting about Tmac!

Don't understand how someone can care so much about a player he supposedly isn't a fan of...

    lol

It's not logic, it's the truth. He was making $10 million a year

    lol@tmac fans not knowing anything

You guys just think that he signed with the Hawks cause they rolled out some red carpet and had billboards and spot lights all over town.

No, it was a economical reason.

Actually there's something called bird's rights which would have allowed the Hawks to resign Jamal Crawford while being over the cap.

    You really are clueless.
