Love took him of the dribble too easily. Beas would've had an easier time.

Maybe Lowry's foot is bothering him?

They shot it 60% through out the night. We just failed to get stops.

Scola needs to score and rebound lots if he wants to make up for his defensive efficiencies. Martin has been scoring enough to make up for his.

It has to be. No way he has trouble guarding Lin or Ridnour if he wasn't.

McHale: We never found anything defensively. Never found rhythm. Credit to them. Never found way to slow down Beasley. Never could get stops. Felt like one of those games where we're stuck in the mud on D. We fouled way too much. Kept reaching in late. A funky feel to it. 3rd Q is where the game was lost. 42 points utterly ridiculous. We need everyone on board. Our D tonight was terrible. Nothing was stopped. Give them credit but if we weren't...fouling Beasley, he was making a shot. A lot of ticky-tack fouls. If you're gonna foul, actually give a foul. We were sitting there and could never find rhythm on D. Never got consecutive stops. Never dug in. They started Iso-ing us with Beasley and got us standing around. Never found our rhythm on D. We scored 108. Our offense wasn't the problem. Beasley, gotta keep him in front of you and make him make shots. That's like anybody. It was just hard for us to stop him. One of those nights where we did not defend at all as a team. 42 points in a Q says it all. We left guys open, we were supposed to switch, didn't. A lot of mistakes on D. To give up 120 points is ludicrous.

Dally has been playing over his head in this last little run. It is now that we see the soft underbelly of our defense. He couldn't hold position on Love and was totally ineffective defensively, which is supposedly his strong suit.

If you think this was bad, just wait until the Clippers, Nuggets, Jazz, Lakers, Thunder, and the rest of the better Western teams start hacking and slashing into the paint against us. You combine Dally with Scola against these teams that are stacked with bigs and athletic perimeter guys that can drive and finish and we are outclassed. It's just that simple.

Les is going to have to realize that this team, as currently constructed is not going to the playoffs.

Donn't blame any palayers, It's the coach's fault. 42 pts in the 3rd, too horrible!!

He has always had trouble staying in front of quicker guards, he is not very quick laterally.

And for some reason he is no longer getting the bowling into people calls...his flops are not working any more.

Possible theories (just throwing it out there):

    • He was just more "ready" to play than the rest of the league, so he came out of the gate and was torching guys. Now, the rest of the league has caught up with him, defenses have tightened up, teams understand his tendencies more, and he's reduced to simply a solid role player.
    • He is mentally distracted by off court issues (the battery case against him), which has affected his play.
    • He is just exhausted, having overextended himself for a month. Not used to being the number option while playing close to 40 minutes a game.
    • His foot injury from earlier in the season is still an issue that's affecting movement (burst, defensive quickness).

    Edit: Now I see. Nevermind.

What? ha, what the hell you talking about? Now wanting? What? Morey has always liked Rubio.

[rquoter]There was one draft day a couple of years ago when Morey summoned Adelman and told him he was going to trade a chunk of his roster for a dazzling European point guard named Ricky Rubio.

"He could help us win a championship someday," Morey told him, "but we might win 20 games next season."

    Adelman was stunned.

"Are you trying to get me fired?" he asked.[/rquoter]

Next game we will beat San Antonio and Twolves will lose like two or three straight. Watch. :) There has got to be some talent to be winning all these games for 3 straight seasons. Its just that MOREY SUCKS at getting something for them!

Of course he can get all those pretty good player but he cant pair any of them with stars so far.

The difference in records is not that great. Right now the Wolves are only two games behind us in the standings and have split the head to head matchups. It is very possible that by weeks end the Wolves are ahead of us in the standings. Also, it should be noted that Rubio didn't start the first 10 games and the Wolves are now 6-4 with him starting.

    What makes you think that?

They are one game below .500 right now and as I said earlier they are 6-4 in his 10 starts.

DD, he's definitely slower than usual. There's a very noticeable difference.

    Should've made the trade.

Now we need to clear out this whole roster for Dwight and Deron. I only hope Morey and Les are willing to do it and that Lowry, Martin, Dally, Scola, and Morris is enough to get it done for Dwight with Goran, expirings, Patterson, and the draft picks enough for DWill.

Get some Morey. You know he even failed to trade for Rubio at his lowest value too. Got to give him credit for liking him but also discredit him for not making that move when he finally had the chance to step up again. Like i said Morey is not stepping up. He gets us a fringe playoff/winning team with solid players.

Just answer me this. Did Morey also fail to get Rubio when Rubios stock hit rock bottom? Thats another Morey miss on his own guy he loved.
