My point is that he's less invested in the Texans than he's leading on and not that he's a Titan at heart. He spent half of the Texans' existence rooting for another team, so I don't want to hear about how he pictured himself leading us to victory against the Ravens. He probably pictured himself at QB for every team that lost because of poor QB play.

I would take Matt Leinart with one arm in a sling before I take a chance on Vince Young. Texans were wise not to pick him back when and would be wise to stay away now.

I'm fine rolling with Schaub, Yates and a veteran of the Delhomme or Garcia variety.

If i had to pick between Leinart and VY for the same price im taking VY. Dude cant play one qt without getting hurt. Sure VY has had off the field problems but I think Kubiak could help him to be a decent qb. Leinart is a joke.

If you are the Texans, and you sign VY, you better be prepared to hand him the starting job and cut Schaub and whoever else is on the roster that may be equipped to start at QB because the UT portion of the Texans fan base, will never, ever accept VY not starting.

Signing VY would completely undermine Schaub (assuming he is healthy) as the starter.

The majority of UT fans that say they would only want him as a backup are being completely disingenuous.

I think UT fans are actually reasonable fans unlike most of the haters on this board. VY is who he is there is delusions of grandeur. However I will always root for the guy to do well.

Nobody wants to add cancer to this team.

As an objective person who doesn't hate VY.... Yates > VY.

I’m coming home, I’m coming home
Tell the World I’m coming home

I know my kingdom awaits and they’ve forgiven my mistakes

I'd take a gamble on him as a WR.

I can just see it now. Schaub throws a pick during the game and then the UT alum start a Vince chant in Reliant. Then the rest of the crowd showers the UT chant with boos. Yeah, I'm sure Bob McNair wants to bring that distraction to the Texans next year.

    If cheap...Think about it.

Do you really want schaub diving for those 1 yd qb keepers? I don't.

    I'm at least intrigued.

In the same breath he mentioned he'd be ok playing for Dallas too. Minus all the BS that has ever surrounded VY, that comment alone would make it a big NO from me.

No, he would not make this team better. The Texans need guys who work hard and put the team first, VY doesn't give you either. I don't even want to think about what he could do to the Texans locker room.
