    Damn tinmac.

Did you just look at basic boxscore stats and made "statistically efficient" point from that?

You are embarrassing your fellow TOFs

Thanks for actually giving links and articles to read.

I don't think the Atlanta Hawks fans have any reason to dislike him, but however I suspect people putting highlights of a 4 point performance on youtube aren't really the true base of Atlanta Hawk fans.

I'm not surprised about McGrady being high on himself.

there's no link to the statistics for the year for PER.

For all I know Jamal Crawford has a better scoring average and PER and nobody boos him when he goes back to a former city he played for.

    What are you talking about?

Go look up hoopsdata or basketball reference.

Now if you want to make arguments that Jamal Crawford is more efficient because of usage rate, %assist or any of that then it's a different story.

But if you make the statement that Crawford is "statistically more efficient", then PER is almost always the best way to demonstrate that. In this case, McGrady has a higher PER than Crawford.

I said he was more productive based on points, but if McGrady has a better PER, then I just requested a link or a simple cut and paste of the stats.

If it's right it's right. Just wanted a link or stats and not being McGrady about something simple like that.

And I told you to look up hoopdata or basketball-reference. If you used your time writing this post to look it up instead you would have gotten it already.

But you're so McGrady that you can't be bothered to do something as simple as go-to-site-look-up-player.

    http://www.hoopdata.com/player.aspx?name=Tracy%20McGrady

    http://www.hoopdata.com/player.aspx?name=Jamal%20Crawford

Do you need me to teach you how to click on a link as well?

No I'm being McGrady by not trusting what TOFs here say like how McGrady doesn't trust his teammates.

You're being McGrady by throwing the whole story on how he got here under the bus. It's because Crawford left.

Well you know that McGrady was gonna go to a team that didn't necessarily have a need for him... He wasn't the missing piece on any team he was gonna go to...Im happy for the dude... It's hard to accept that you're not what you once were and still produce , while being positive.....Stand up guy IMO.. Rocket fans are just butt-hurt... Get over it!!!... If it wasn't for Dream, we would be happy with his tenure here...

I don't understand how this is relevant to anything.

They signed T-Mac because Crawford left... and? What is your point? I have no idea what you're trying to say and how this has anything to do with whether T-Mac is contributing to the Atlanta Hawks winning.

He's still got really high basketball IQ and is organizing the offense. He calls out plays and tells people where to go and how to move when he's on the court. He's been a valuable addition to the Hawks and has been helping the ball movement.

No one is saying he's a superstar or star. He's a valuable role player whos helping the team with the third best record in the East.
Crawford left. They got T-Mac as the main replacement. They're winning more games despite Al Horford now being injured.

    That was the point.

You thought it was the point forward.

    Game on buddy.

    http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/c/crawfja01.html
    13.1 points

    http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/m/mcgratr01.html
    6.8 points

based on point production, Crawford wins.

    Awards
2009-10 NBA Sixth Man of the Year

Based on playing with the Hawks (last year for Crawford)
    14.2 points/game

I'm right based on point production.

But for fake hawks fans on clutchfans,
McGrady wins in a landslide, there aren't any real Hawks fans here as far as I know.
You know REAL HAWKS FANS, the ones who love Nique and listen to Outkast.

    Why feed the trolls?

The fact that tinman frequents a topic that McGrady fans come to just to keep up with his play for the Hawks, and uses that to belittle and pick on those same fans with questionable stat comparisons (I have yet to say McGrady is OUTSCORING Crawford as PER and Scoring are TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT STATS).

I challenge any and all persons posting and following this thread to simply overlook and NOT respond to tinman's useless posts. They don't contribute anything to the thread except contention.

It takes a little man to not give another human being the decency of the benefit of the doubt that he can still play the game of basketball, based on his feeling of how he treated the Rockets THREE SEASONS AGO.

This is what you said. You said productivity, not points.

You changed it around after you realized you pulled facts out of your ass. Productivity =/= points.

    You're embarrassing. I'm done here.

lol I know that you're just being ridiculous and you don't actually think this way, but you do realize how obsurd you sound? as if anyone who likes a certain player/person can't be trusted. we all have a bias, you included, but you take everything way too far. cmon man, be rational for once.

Forgive me, I was thinking like Tmac fans cause points immediately came to my mind.

Besides the season is not over and the stats are in flux.

Crawford did win 6th man of the year. Will Tmac do that?

Actually They did boo Crawford when he went back

In fact I read on Hawk's forum that no one has any idea why TMac was boo'd in Houston.
