Ron Paul Supporter Likes The Way Paul Tells It Like It Has No Chance Of Being

RICHMOND, IN—Self-proclaimed strict constitutionalist and freethinker Rick Crawford told reporters Monday he is supporting Ron Paul in the 2012 Republican presidential primaries because of the way the candidate looks people directly in the eye, doesn't mince words, and tells it like it will never, ever be in a million years. "Ron cuts right through the fat and doesn't sugarcoat anything when he talks about policies that would be absolutely impossible to implement, like abolishing the federal income tax, eliminating Medicare, or putting the nation's currency back on the gold standard," Crawford said as he pounded a hand-painted "Ron Paul 2012" sign in his front lawn. "He's not afraid to give Americans no-nonsense straight talk about his completely delusional fantasy world. That's why I'm part of the highly unlikely Ron Paul revolution." Sources close to Crawford's family said his wife supports Mitt Romney because of the way he tells it like people want to hear it.

honestly, if i was going to put my money on anyone it would be obama - ive been saying for over a year now that he will win. but that doesnt mean i think paul has zero chance. and again, if obama is to lose the biggest reason will be disillusionment from people who should have been his "base". as i said, i know alot of people who voted for obama in 2008 who will not be voting for him in 2012.

i didnt read toyotacenters post (its easy if you try!), but it is true that there was a debate where for the hour that was televised he got like 90 seconds. the debate was actually longer and paul did speak more, but as far as the televised portion toyotacenter is correct.

    ToyCen answer?-

    "american's and stratus quo"

for someone so stuck on exposing the MSM, ToyCen sure does post a bunch of foxnews/foxbusiness/CNN videos.

    that being said...

"Yes, I’m willing to continue to have Muslim children slaughtered by covert drones and cluster bombs, and America’s minorities imprisoned by the hundreds of thousands for no good reason, and the CIA able to run rampant with no checks or transparency, and privacy eroded further by the unchecked Surveillance State, and American citizens targeted by the President for assassination with no due process, and whistleblowers threatened with life imprisonment for “espionage,” and the Fed able to dole out trillions to bankers in secret, and a substantially higher risk of war with Iran (fought by the U.S. or by Israel with U.S. support) in exchange for less severe cuts to Social Security, Medicare and other entitlement programs, the preservation of the Education and Energy Departments, more stringent environmental regulations, broader health care coverage, defense of reproductive rights for women, stronger enforcement of civil rights for America’s minorities, a President with no associations with racist views in a newsletter, and a more progressive Supreme Court."

After the Florida debate, I have more respect for Santorum and Ron Paul than I did before the debate.

Paul is straightforward and cuts through a lot of the Republican paranoia B.S.

Santorum at least BELIEVES what he talks about. Mostly.

While I disagree with a lot of their views, especially Santorum, those two guys believe what they say. Mostly.

Romney uses the whole road to maneuver.

Gingrich is Satan's left nut. Talking up moon colonies because Florida has a large aerospace industry presence. To hell with the economy, people in need; let's build the Death Star, right?

So the GOP keeps 9 times as many promises as they break while Obama breaks more than 25% of his promises (leaving aside In The Works and Stalled as they can't be judged yet and compromise because that would be open to too much interpretation)?

Yes, that's probably the case. I think his doctoral thesis was on the relationship between tennis shoes and passive/aggressive behavior.

    oh man!

    "He who kills must die"

Chris Matthews had what I can only call an impassioned monologue about the karmic smack down coming Mitt Romney’s way for destroying Newt Gingrich in Florida.

It was like he was channelling Samuel L Jackson in Pulp Fiction.

Man, that was great! I love it when someone like Matthews, long a Washington insider, and someone who knows politics backwards and forwards, speaks truth to power. In this case, the power of Romney's money, and what Romney has done with it in these early primaries attacking Gingrich..

if washington, adams, jefferson, etc..., especially paine were alive today who do you think they would vote for among this GOP field and Obama? Forget the race issue, it wouldn't matter today.

i know the 18th century is not the 21st century but it is interesting to think about.
