I researched new TVs last year, and ended up buying a 60" Panasonic Plasma. Very happy with it -the picture quality is fantastic. In my opinion, Plasma is a much better option than LCD or LED. For me, the decision came down to why would I pay more for a TV that worse picture quality?
After speaking with the BB reps and research on AVS, it seems like picture quality lowers after 2 yrs? Is that true?
Never heard anything like that. I've only had the 60" for about 6 months, but I have ownd another 50" Panasonic Plasma for about 5 years and I cannot say I have noticed any deterioration. I have heard that the brigthness of plasmas (actually I don't know if this applies to LCDs as well) reduces over time, but once again I have not noticed this.
