    I just wanna know.
I still look at Deron as a Jazz, so I can't stand him.

don't 'superstars' carry a team? Nets should at least have a .400 record..If he was what some claim him to be.

    As a person?
    As a basketball player?
    As a great point guard?
    As a possible Rockets transaction?

Everyone isn't Chris Paul... He's a floor general that needs players around him to be successful... Name another PG that could carry that roster to a .500 team.... Keep in mind he's doing it from a PG position with no center.....

Used to respect the hell out of him in Utah, always thought he was underrated there.

But I kinda lost some respect for him since going to NJ. Although he's on a terrible team, he's been a tad divalicious there, and doesn't show much of a consistent effort. In comparison, CP3 took a bunch of losers to 6 games with the Lakers last year.

I don't consider him to be in the Paul/Rose category of truly elite PGs anymore, though he'd be in the next group (obviously). So I'd be in between like/dislike for him. I wouldn't want us to go after him - why go after the position you're already strongest in?

Even when he was with the Jazz I was amazed, yet pissed, at the trouble he would give the Rockets. I know he's a former Jazz, but I would love him on this team.

The stink of playing in New Jersey washed off the stench from playing in Utah.

    Yes....yes I do.

For those saying he should be leading his team to more victories...have you seen that roster??? I know it's the East but they're in playoff contention with that.

Not his fault... He reps Texas, therefore he's an honorary Houstonian...in a Roy Williams kind of way..lol

With the right pieces around him (read: not anyone in NJ), he would be a top 3 PG again.
