Think it through a little more. I made it "your or your friend's" wife to make it a little more personal so you could get it.... but it may be someone's wife or someone's girlfriend and you just don't know, do you?

And I suppose you just don't care and that's a problem in this world.

    You are creepy.

No, if I meet a girl and she tells me that she is single, and we ultimately have sex.... and it turns out that she is married or has a boyfriend.. nope, not my problem or worry. She lied, to me and to whomever she is with... and there is a reason she lied, she did not value the relationship she in and did not want to confess what she did. Ultimately you have to treat people until given a reason not too. Further, I did not say for him to meet a girl and screw her 5 minutes later.

Using your logic no one should ever date or marry, because you never know, they could be in a relationship.

You really should think about it.......

I can agree with you up to a point. What if you fall for this chick, and fall hard? You think she's a free actor on life's stage, but she turns out not to be. Things look different then, don't they? And I don't think Giddy is being "creepy," but simply has a different view, one not uncommon, by the way, than you or I have may have about this subject.

So you've gone from "casual sex with a stranger" to one specific situation in which "you" are the victim of deception?

And that is how you win the argument?

There is a real world out there with real people and some amount of caution is called for. I am not against truly single people doing whatever they want with one another but having "casual sex with a stranger" doesn't necessarily NOT injure some party known to you or not-- not to mention the consideration of disease.

    WOW...

    1. I could understand if you were married, in long relationship, or young, but I have to ask how long did date this girl? 6 months is a long time to be venting over someone who really did not fancy you that much.

    2. *why do i feel like every girl i meet can't give me the same happiness she gave me?* I actually feel the same way about people I date, both men and women, which is why I haven't really made an effort to date anyone over the last year or so. Because, I haven't found anyone who wants to truly make me happy, especially if exclude sex from the equation. I get the laziest men to hit on me, and why am I supposed to be happy about seeing a d#ck picture (yes i have had guys show me d!ck pics/their erections in public). THe girls are an emotional mess, or are dealing with their ex boyfriends and girlfriends and looking for security blanket. Dating is so awesome, typically the worst people want to date (or ask for casual sex from you). I've sort of given up on dating, while sadly I have had to raise my standards and who I talk to, because don't even want to get to know you these days without having some type of reward.

    3. No, I was probably the nicest, most loyal boyfriend for her. Problem is, I wasn't doing all the sweet things such as giving her roses and ****. I thought we were good and she was fine with none of that stuff because she said what matters is that we love each other every day.

Was there any electricity between you guys? Was there any juice? Were you guys equal? When I say equal, I mean things like the same age, same interests, similar backgrounds (or completely different backgrounds as opposites do attract)? I have to also ask who was the breadwinner, and would you consider yourself as attractive (hot or resemble a nice looking movie star) as she was? How is your personality, are you fun, bubbly, and possibly as sociable as she was? You probably should've been more romantic to her in effort to keep her or just feel like I have (beautiful) woman on my arms.

The only reason I am saying that is because you are obsessed with her (IDK. .. maybe her personality, her looks, or etc). Yet, she's not obsessed with you, or even cheating on you (apparently she just left). I hate to say this, but maybe she wanted to find a better man (in her opinion) or someone more to her liking, or someone who is more like her. I've known people in my life, and even seen some cases with celebrities where a person cheated on someone, and the person they cheated with ended up being their husband or wife for like 10+ years to nearly death. There was something magnetic between that wasn't present in the previous relationship. Example, Jill Ireland left (and cheated) David Macullum for Charles Bronson, they were married for 22 years. It happens.

    4. She looked like Jessica Alba (without the boobs, LOL) ... probably the finest thing I'll ever get in my life . . . adorable .. her humor ... part of the list, of the things I miss.

Did you guys have any chemistry at all? DId you know what things bothered her, or could you tell that she was been a little withdrawn in the middle or towards the end? What kind of person was she in general (did you ever catch her flirting with other people)? I do not know if it is a gender thing or individual thing of reading people.

Even though, I am woman, I don't credit that with me being able to tell what's wrong with a significant other (most people have it, because they smell b#llsh!t). ALot of times, I sense it, while I just pick up on things, like behavior, mood changes, lying, and lack of intimacy (not necessarily just sex). What she did was very much wrong and immature, but a lack of romance can kill any relationship? I guess given that she possibly looks like Jessica Alba, she's going to get someone who is going to give her more excitement or romance, or attempt to.

Personally to me, I wouldn't care if my ex looked like someone famous or a toad in the backyard, because my heart would've been broken regardless (while I lied to, cheated on, or had a home broken) and be bitter about it. Most likely, you are young, but if you aren't. You'll probably find love again, and if you are lucky she might look like Liv Tyler, Paula Patton, or Sofia Vegara. Hopefully, she won't cheat on you and you two have wonderful chemistry.

I don't think it's fair to say that no one should ever get back with someone after they cheat, but I never could.

8 years of compiling pictures of her to masturbate to. No wonder my cak doesn't even work anymore. I can only get off when i close my eyes and picture her. Pathetic. I can't date or hardly get attracted to anyone unless they either look like her, sound like her or act like her. So pathetic.

I stopped reading a few posts into the first page. Here's the solution:

Change your number. Don't give it to her family. Problem solved.

She cheated, don't let her back in your life.

Sucks for a while but if you ever did get back with her you're never going to trust her completely again.

And dont compare every new girl to her, even if they aren't as attractive, they may be loyal.....

OP, let me tell you something. Time can never mend the careless whispers of a good friend.

To the heart and mind, ignorance is kind.

There's no comfort in the truth. Pain is that all you'll find.

This thread has taken about 4 different turns, and every one of them is creepier than the last. This is the like the Stephen King novel of threads.
