    Why is death a tag?

Anyway, the quality of basketball always improves as you move forward in time. The pure skills of players. If you watch 70s and 80s basketball, the defense was pathetic compared to today

Maybe, just maybe... that the defenses had something to do with it. I mean, they are just 2 of the best defenses in the entire league.

But picking one game to generalize about the superstars is absurd.

actually, i showed that before the 93-4 season very few teams dipped below averaging 100 points a game. Now, 2/3rds of the teams are less that 100 a game.

like i said, iso's and hero ball is ruining the game, and I believe, based on what I see that these so-called good defensive teams generally benefit from ref involvement. Refs allow them to get away with murder in the paint without getting whistled for a foul. They do this so that they can show rose going 3 on 1 and the hero ball script infinite amount of times.

Every bulls game is an ugly game for a reason, im saying.

Every bulls game is ugly b/c that's how Thibs like to play, as Thibs learned from JVG, who learned from Pat Riley. I'm sure you have seen those epic Knicks-Heat battles in the 90s. It's like watching how the Suns/Warriors play. Every team has a distinctive style, as they focus more on defense or offense.

Look at the Bulls this year without Rose. They tend to run more to make up for his absence, and thus they score more.

If teams want to average 100+ points, all they need to do is run, and run, and dont play much defense. Just increase the # of possessions per game.

Superstars still make shots. And they make a lot of them.
