He is playing a lot, but he is not playing like a TON of minutes, he is under 38 a game, and while it is a lot, it is not outrageous or Cuttino like minutes.

What I am seeing right now is his lack of confidence in his shooting, he still rebounds well, passes great, and defends pretty good, but he is passing up open shots...and when he does shoot it is not with confidence.

He needs to get his swagger back?

I call BS because it is BS. You take shots at Lowry's game in threads that are not about Lowry. It's annoying.

I am sorry you do not approve of my posting about Lowry's struggles and that you feel it is inappropriate, and bothersome.

It does not in any way mean I want the guy benched, we have no other options at PG.

I do not, nor have I ever felt, he is an all star level PG though, he is just a notch below...IMO.

Oh grow up and don't pull your passive aggressive apology like you did with Bima.

I'm referring to threads not about Lowry where you make it about taking shots at Lowry. I could care less if you point out Lowry's flaws, but to do it everytime in every thread is annoying.

Look at the threads about Bud. It's filled with you taking shots at Lowry's game to defend Bud. It's annoying.

And no Lowry probably won't make it in the all-stars but yes I still think he is a top 10 PG.

Interesting that you think this, but I wont think too deep into it.

If you think about all the players over time that consistently get voted into the all-star game just because they are big name players, or were all stars earlier in their careers, I think we can all understand that deserve has nothing to do with it. Its a popularity contest and Lowry DESERVES to be popular amongst the league as one of the top PG's.

He hasn't been 100% consistent, I agree, but few have been. I expect it that whether you are arguing with someone on here about it or not, you would secretly be happy as hell if Lowry gets the nod from the coaches to be an All-Star.

You have to understand that when you ride a guy's jock for over a year and now he's playing in China, while his backup is all-star caliber, it can sting a bit.

Aaron will be back in the NBA in March, and he has been playing well in China - 20 points 5 assists, 2 steals in 29minutes shooting almost 50% and 44% from three.

I would imagine there should be some interest from various teams (e.g., the Lakers).

John Lucas III put up these numbers in China, too.

Those are worse stats than Kyle in the NBA.

Only 5 assists is pretty sad.

    LOL - that is funny.

There are different roles required, some times you have scoring points, sometimes assisting ones.

20 and 5 is pretty danged good......if your role is to score the ball.

Mike Harris is averaging 24 ppg in China, 4 more points.

Lowry would average a triple double over there.

China's level of competition got better..... they have some decent big men there that won't make it easy to slash to the rim.
Kenyon Martin couldn't even stay in the rotation.

Different setting.... If the NBA didn't have many shot blockers, Mike Harris would flourish here as well.

    Stephon Marbury 2011-2012:

    PPG 24.5
    2FG% 55.7%
    RPG 5.5
    APG 6.7
    SPG 2.2

    Nope.

The competition hasn't been the same since John Lucas III left.

20 points in the NBA if your role is to score is very good, not so much in the CBA.

JR smith is averaging 34 points over there. Wilson Chandler is averaging 26.

He's not in the top 10 in points right now, being outscored by guys such as Lester Hudson (who also has more assists than him) and Marcus Williams.

Although I don't doubt that a team will pick him up when he comes back to the NBA, I doubt he would have near the scoring impact he had a couple of season ago.
