Celtics now are starting to remind me of the early 00's Piston. Play tough defense, #1 record, 4 all star starters, win a ring by beating the Lakers, lose the finals in the next year in 7 games..every year after have a great regular season record and decent playoff run but get bounced by Lebron. They won't get to the finals anytime soon. Their team of veterans will eventually breakup like the Pistons did and they'll have to rebuild.

Celtics were done as soon as Jeff Green went down. Luckily for them they have been able to win lately without Ray Allen and Rajon Rondo

Celts were done when they made the trade for Green. That stuck a fork in them. For that matter, they may have been done either way.

Jeff Green is not an impact player. He's just fluff off the bench.

I think they would have loss with Perkins last year too.

I don't think they would have won this year with Green but him being out was the final fork in them. I'm amazed that anyone who watches basketball thinks they can make a run at a title. Unless they have some type of big trade they are finished.

you know why they score 80 points a game, it's because neither has an offensive game plan. if the refs didn't allow miami and chicago to MAUL other teams in the paint, they'd get their ass beat by 20 points by teams in the 80s like the lakers and celtics.
