I think he should get minutes no doubt, especially if he can continue to score efficiently...I am impressed with his last couple games but i think he should continue coming off the bench...parsons is better all round player and since him and dalembert have become starters the team is way better..I like his attitude and drive more coming off the bench, hope he keeps it up

McHale? , this is all about what Bud is doing...McHale's ass is glued to the bench, he can't play anymore.

Now that fools gold is out with plantar facitis....

McHale has done a decent job of figuring out whom he can trust and not having any sacred cows etc.

He still struggles with situatinal substitutions and relies too heavily on Lowry, but overall, I give him a solid B so far

So, maybe Lowry should be benched so he can learn how to shoot again, right?

I mean...it would be great coaching by McHale.

Now that Kyle is shooting like Rafer Alston out there.

Actually I love pointing out the hypocrisy of folks who wanted to lynch Budinger, and stuck behind their favorite like Lowry.

I like all Rockets...and will criticize when necessary and stand up for those that are being unfairly criticized by the ignorant masses.

That has nothing to do with his performance and rather his legs. He is performing fine out there with crisp passes and good defense still. Give him a few games like this where he rests a lot and I bet Lowry starts to take off again once his legs get some rest after all these minutes. Its moot since he starts and the Rockets need him to win as he still does those little things that true point guards do to cause those wins.

Why do you hate Lowry so much?

    Seriously, it's getting tiring.

I get it, you liked Brooks and Lowry took over Brooks spot. You have a natural grudge against him, but I really hope you'd tone it down a bit.

Lowry is everything good about this team. Work hard, play hard, earn all-star considerations. Quite a huge leap for a person who was once "a career back-up" don't you think? Lowry blossomed for the Rockets from a nobody, he took up every opportunity he had and made the most out of it.

Your boy Budinger had so much more opportunity to keep his starting spot than Lowry. Lowry never had the chance to prove he is a starter quality player because RA has always been too loyal, something Bud benefited from and Lowry did not. Bud was even gifted the spot when Battier was traded, and he couldn't beat out a first year rookie to keep it. Instead of blaming his lack of passion and fire (evident from his lack of improvement since college), you blame the coach for having the "wrong" system for him.

To add to that, you claim Lowry is getting better stats because the "system" makes his stats look better.

What's wrong with you? I don't doubt when posters say you bleed Rocket red, but I hope you would just tone it down. Would be better if you could tone down your cheap shots at players that you don't like, they get even more annoying when you end it with a ;).

    Flaming,

I like Lowry, I just want him to continue to get better and worry that he may be a decent player who is just not as good as I and others hoped.

His shooting, which got better last year has regressed, I thought he was tired, but his minutes are not that out of wack....and when you watch him, his confidence is not there, his swagger is gone.

And he no longer tumbles into the lane forcing the action, he needs to get back to being Kyle.

That is what I want....nothing more, nothing less.

One more thing, using him as an example to folks may get them to realize that they are being too hard on Chase, he is what he is...a young player who is sometimes good, sometimes ok, and sometimes bad, like most young players but will only get consistent with consistent minutes.

Lowry is more integral to wins than Budinger.... Lowry is in the running for Allstar reserve.... Bud's not ... he was in the running for a rotation spot 2 games ago
Budinger unfairly criticized? .........that must be a joke... I can't laugh about that
We lost a fair share of games with him and Hill in the starting line up.

Not entirely true. This doesn't explain DNP-CDs.

Some players need harsh treatment to wake up. In his case it seems to work.
