Man, the Knicks fans must be going nuts. Gallinari is the leading scoer on the 2nd team in the WC, Denver, and Felton is starting for another excellent team, the Blazers. We have a good record, as well, and that Knicks pick continues to look better and better. As you pointed out, there is another 1st round pick the Knicks won't see in 2014. And Wilson Chandler? Playing in China, checking the calendar every day, counting down to when he can return to the Association. All to produce this mess of a team.

    I love it!

Yes. So let's not hope NY falls that far. If it can be packaged for a good player, do it.

After watching them 2 nights in a row, I'm convinced they never practice any offensive play. Their entire offense = iso. It wasn't working with Carmelo, it's even worse without him.

Ah the protection applies post-lottery too? I thought you just got the rights to the 6th slot.

We can't lose the pick. We'll get their next year top 5 protected pick (all the way until 2015) if Knicks managed to land a top 5 this year.

Don't forget Mosgov as well, very good young player. Such a great trade.

To add insult to injury Jordan Hill just had a great game to help push them further down the ladder.

Yep, I'm pretty sure it's post-lottery that matters.

Though that'll make it awkward for the Knicks rep who goes.

I don't think we lose it just rolls on to 2013, if they are in the top 5 or win the #1 pick. I seriously doubt they lose that many games still not a .500 team though.

Knicks currently have the 8th draft pick with a 10% chance to move into the top 3
