Been happening for a while. Sometimes I just feel like I can't breathe or can't close my eyes and feel like someone is depending on me or have something due. I just immediately got up right now for no reason. Could it be anxiety attacks, panic attacks, or stress? I will graduate in the summer from X-ray and feeling the anxiety of what's next. Maybe it's the amount of work I have put into this ****. Am I over doing it. Scared of not having a job? Ive been at UPS for 8 years since I was 18 and this week was my vacation but it felt terrible. I feel like my supervisor maybe did some brujeria on me.

If you can't fall asleep, don't try to force it. Get up, listen to some music, think through your issues, take a shower, whatever you need to do. After a while try to get back in bed and go to sleep. Try to avoid TV and the computer, the light will jolt your brain into 'awake' mode.

Its important to associate your bed with sleeping, not sleeplessness. Tossing and turning, looking at the clock, that s**t will just make it worse.

Story of my life brother. One thing that helps me is to get up and do something for 10-15 minutes to take my mind off it, then sleep somewhere else. For some reason I find it's easier sometimes to fall asleep on my couch or in the guest bed. That's pretty much all you can do during a restless night.

Other than that, exercise helps to tire your body. Read a book or learn something new (I'm learning guitar) to help exercise your mind.

Sounds like stress. I'm young and I never thought there'd come a time when I'd have trouble sleeping like most grown-ups until I started my junior year in college when I was writing my thesis. I had been stern about sleeping 8 hours a day and I just kept waking up.

My guess is that you're over weight? Get some exercise.

yup, sounds like stress and you are thinking too much. Try to do something relaxing you enjoy before sleeping. Take your mind off whats making you think so much.

So, when someone rhetorically asks you how you slept, you're in a real quandary.

Roll up a doobie or a blunt

Or... Take a few rips from a bong or bubbler

That should do the trick ;)

You need to learn how to relax. Maybe some meditation would help. You could also try some melatonin. Its a natural hormone that regulates sleep. You can buy it anywhere. Just buy the small dose and try it, but like anything, watch for side effects. From what I read, its not addictive.

Stream stuff off of Netflix and search online for jobs, then you will at least be entertained and productive. Is X-ray = X-ray technician?

My friend asked his ex father-in-law that question once. His father-in-law replied "Do you really care or are you just making small talk".

Take 4000 IU of vitamin D3 in the morning.

    Works for me.

Your friend's ex father-in-law sounds like an *******. I'm guessing that played somewhat of a part into why he's his EX father-in-law lol.

To the OP, it sounds like you need to exercise your mind a bit. Take up a new hobby, hit the gym, play sports, read, learn an instrument, etc. A tired brain will not have the energy to be restless.
