He would be a reserve, so he would wind up playing 10minutes tops. Also, it's not like he's going to be in the dunk contest or three point shootout, especially after last nights game.

They've put worse shooters than Lowry in the shootout before... (And for the record, he DID make two of his last three threes in the Bucks game.)

He needs to find his confidence in his shot, he is really struggling shootingbthe ball right now.

Imo with him struggling he does not deserve it as much anymore, if he cannot stay consistent that's not good. Blame McHale and the team for making play so many minutes all you want but everybody's playing heavy minutes and you still need to be able to produce.

This. All stars are really for the glamorous players of the NBA. Lowry's playing at a terrific level but if he's going through a shooting slump he doesn't deserve to be an all star. Fans don't want Shane Battiers on the court in the all star game, they want the De Andre Jordans.

everything makes sense except for the deandre jordan thing at the end... but face it all players go through a slump... its inevitable, what makes stars so glamorous is that they keep pushing and find a way through it and make shots when it counts... and i've seen lowry make shots at the END of his bad shooting games when it matters most...

Hey if he was hurt every other week like CP3, Wade and Melo, he'd always be in amazing form when he does play!

I really hope this is just a slump, or he is injured or something because right now his offense is even making rafer alston look good

I really wanted him to make it but I don't see how it happens with him shooting below 40% as the game gets closer and closer.

bad timing for KL to go on a shooting slump. hope he snaps out of it soon so he can be back in the All-Star consideration

whoo-hoo, right now, we're tied for 4th to 7th places in the West. Of course, that may quickly change depending on the outcome of the other games tonight. But man, savor that

He was sort of a long shot at his former pace. No chance now, and maybe its for the best. He needs to just focus on getting his game right. We're going to really need him in the upcoming games.

KL just kind of looks tired. Don't have the same pep to his step on the court. Good thing he got to rest tonight due to strong play by Dragic (and horrible performance by the Knicks).

KL looks kind of lost, his confidence is shot right now, the guy is in a serious slump shooting wise.

And the rest of his game if falling too, he needs to pick up the pace....there is no way he should be an all star at this point, 38% shooting and 35% 3pt shooting.....dang....the guy is getting closer to Rafer shooting percentages with each and every game.

Last three games: 4-29 FG, 2-14 3P. Ouch. Hope he snaps out of this soon.
