What EVIDENCE do we have that Morey is doing a great/good job?

And I think his point wasn't that you were critical of Morey or against the trade. Many, many people were in that thread. It was more an issue with how often you were making your point and the repetitive nature of it. Though I understand how that could be unfair if you were just responding to people who were directly challenging your points. I had a similar experience in the infamous "Epic Beard Man" thread.

Im just saying most posters opposed that trade, the biggest Morey has ever pulled off.

So I dont think the board blindly follows him.

A lot of the morey as God stuff is tongue in cheek imo

 

Still no stars and no Championships aspirations for this team. So yeah no evidence still he is doing a great job. A decent job? Maybe. They dont hand out awards for ok and average jobs.

The only move that has not worked out in favor of Morey has been the trade for TWil.
A Rocket's expected 13-18th pick this year is >> to the kraken.
even with this trade, you cannot really blame him for trying to pick up a player that has top 5 talent in terms of upside vs taking a flyer on a college kid in that draft range.

so, in essence, none of the moves that morey has made are dumb moves. he takes risks that could or don't pan out, but those are ones that are worth taking.

morey is a GREAT general manager. if the fans of houston and this forum can't see that, they don't really deserve him.
