Hey man, I have a lot of experience here. I actually own a vacation condo in destin, but it's occupied for the next few months. VRBO.com is great and if you want a good condo right on the beach for a lower than average price I'd recommend the Capri - it's cheaper than most and it's really decent and convienient.

Go here and select Capri from the right hand side and then check photos and availability... some have ocean views, others don't. But they are all 50 yards w/out crossing the street from the white sand. Check the higher end properties if you want to pay more...

Repped! We're planning on going in June but haven't been successful in finding one right on the beach that also allows pets.

 

there are plenty of houses there for rent right by the beach.

 

never stayed at Destin but Rosemary Beach is a few miles away, and i really enjoyed the home/condo rentals there.

 

Last year for spring break my fiance and I stayed at the Sandestin Resort! It was great alot of extras like a free round of golf for 2 and other specials on things like bike and water craft rentals! Another thing that is cool is that the resort is built around a small marine area alot of sail boats and canoe rental opportunity's..

 

yea if you want a true resort, sandestin is the place in that area.

 

The emerald grande is very nice.

 

then try the sandestin hilton. it is a hotel that is in the sandestin resort but hotel guest also have access to the entire resort.
