Need to have more help from the bench. PPat is still on 100% back, Hill still not a constant player, Bud has gone m.i.a. The team needs these guys to give the team a boost when the staters get their due rest.

Alright great effort there guys way not to make it look to obvious. Les is proud of the way you got more butts in the seats with the win streak but enough is enough back to business....;)

I watch every game. Obviously it's an exaggeration, but it isn't to say he is the worst defender on the team.

Lowry killed us tonight. 2-16 and the only 2 made in garbage time is awful. Lee also had a bad game.

The Bucks made virtually every single open jumper and we clanked ours off the rim (Martin excepted). That's pretty much it.

Lee's defense has always been overrated. He can guard PG's and small shooting guards like him. When it comes to guarding a decent, normal sized wing player he always gets outworked.

I don't visit Chutfans.net much, maybe you can enlighten me...

Seriously though, it's one thing to call me out, but really? And you know thats not even true... My point is that when Scola isn't making shots it wouldn't hurt to put Hill in at PF. At least he tries to play defense and he brings some athleticism to the court.

It's not overated. You said it yourself, he's a PG/SG combo guard that can guard both positions pretty effectively

He was guarding a 6'8 Jackson all night, what do you expect him to do, Jackson has 5 inches on him.

Well if we had D Wade and Lebron I wouldn't be pissed off...

The Bucks are alright, but we are definitely the better team, especially at home. I realize any team can win any game, but for THIS Rockets team to make the playoffs these are the types of games they are going to have to win. The schedule may be "easy" now, but just take a look ahead, it gets a LOT more difficult.

I am dissappointed in McHale, if his guys are not giving effort, then yank em out and go deeper in your bench.

Do what a great coach like Popovich would do, if you aren't going to play hard, someone else will.

Seems to me he needs to be consistent and not play favorites - if they are tired or sucking......

Rockets just came out flat from the start. For all the credit McHale is getting this is on him. Bogut goes out and you still lose the game. For a good 3 minute strech our offense was litteraly chuking up threes everytime down the floor, I didn't see one set play during that strech.

And where was this "McHale is great at substituting when a player isn't playing well" Lee stayed on the floor way too long when the Bucks went on that run.

The players he played were consistent for 7 games. Lee and Lowry killed us tonight, but its not like they Chase/Brooks bad last season where they played horribly for a 10 game stretch.

Now seriously, for some people here everytime we loose its Scolas responsability.
Today FG 7-11, 8 rebounds, 1 block only 1 TO.
Off course stats sometimes lie but Lowrys FG 2-16 today and no one is saying Flynn can shoot better, play Flynn (thank God nobody is saying that)
Off course Lowry is now our best player and he has only a bad night

all we put here a lot of passion, but I think we have to respect players like Scola, Martin, Lowry

Lowry is dead tired and is now shooting under 40% for the entire season.

Kevin Martin - the alleged good shooter is shooting 33.1% from 3pt land.

    Courtney Lee is shooting 31%....

Right now, our 3pt shooting leaders are:

    Terreance Williams
    Kyle Lowry
    Chase Budinger.

2 of the 3 above are not playing, now clearly they are out of the rotation, but if the effort is not there.....go deeper on the bench and find out if someone else can pick it up.

    Weak coaching tonight, IMO.

3 games without Bud. When you're up 20 it's good to put in someone who wants to prove himself. He sat out 2 games straight, his minutes have been heavily reduced, and he wants to play. He's proved himself before in this league unlike T-Will.

I blame McHale. That was something I hated about Rick, and I hate to see him making the same mistakes. A tight rotation is nice, but when you're up and you have fresh legs use them!

If Martin is scoring the way he did tonight then why wouldn't you put in a player who can spread the floor, and someone he has chemistry with.

Dragic failed not because he drove, but because he didn't go to a wide open Parsons who just hit a basket.

is McHale planning on using this 8-man rotation every freaking game? considering how full the schedule is, that is a really dumb idea. every player on the bench should be getting minutes so our true starters won't get tried/injured.

I am not sure, but I think if he does that we will soon see a lot of fatigue oriented injuries.

Players are human not robots or assets, the news about four of their teammates and in some cases close friends probably didn't set well. Thus, the "flat" performance. That's my theory, at least.

I'm not just talking about tonight. Scola played fine tonight, like you said he was 7-11. It just irritates me how awful he is on defense. Not to mention he is having his worst year shooting and his rebounding has damn near disappeared.

First it's "Too many guys, not enough minutes, we need a [2-1/3-1] trade to clear out the roster", now it's "Go deeper into the bench and play these guys."

    :p:confused::rolleyes:;)
