    Operating profit, not income.

Teams with operating losses last year:

    DAL - (3.9 million)
    ORL - (16 million)
    POR - (7.4 million)
    NJN - (24 million)
    UTAH - (16 million)
    WAS - (3.4 million)
    DEN - (1.2 million)
    PHI - (10 million)
    NOH - (2.7 million)
    IND - (10 million)
    CHA - (25 million)
    MIN - (6.8 million)
    ATL - (15 million)
    MEM - (25 million)
    MIL - (7.6 million)

    Exactly half the league.

I'm sure Cleveland has deals still signed from when LeBron was there.

LA was paying Phil $10 million, and had much higher player salaries.

When? When we had healthy Yao/Tmac,both were money machines at that time, Les didn't pay, instead he split MLE to get Charlie Ward. Tell me another super star duo who didn't have an owner who spent way over lux limit in last 10 years?

It's kinda funny that Les inherited a Championship Caliber team with the greatest Rocket ever on it to get 2 rings, and some fans just think he's the greatest owner on earth.

4th biggest market with a pair of super stars should be in top3 every year.

Houston isn't the fourth biggest market.

Dallas is a bigger market, despite Houston being the bigger city. Houston is the 10th largest market in the NBA.
