It aired last night, but it's HBO, so it'll be on every day for the next week. I didn't realize JVG went to Yale, didn't make the team, so he left for JuCo.
That was what i admired most about him. Passion for basketball despite lacking the physical gifts of your average basketball player.
I feel privileged that my team was coached by a man that so clearly has both a great understanding of and passion for the game. Wish we still had him, especially considering that his style of play is my absolute favorite. At least we all get to share in his work as perhaps the best NBA color man of all time though.
