    Simple trade

Jordan "I'll lead the league in and-1's committed" Hill

    for

Robin "I am the better looking twin" Lopez

both have been disappointing thus far. hill has the higher upside while lopez has better size. both are on rookie contracts to expire soon.
the reason this works is it allows each player to be in a place where the style of play fits their skills better.

If the Miami Heat don't win it all this year, how long do y'all think Pat Riley will wait before he breaks it up? Would he consider moving Wade or Bosh? Technically, you could trade Lowry, Martin, Scola, and Dalembert for Wade and Bosh, but it'll take more than that for both of them. If Miami fails again this year they should at least consider building around Lebron and getting what they can for Wade/Bosh.

I like it. I'd even throw Buddhinger into the deal to make it more doable from a PHX perspective.

I just think Mchale is a great coach in terms of developing young players, he obviously has his own way to connect with young players, and guide them to a right direction. I just think, both Wes Johnson and Anthony Randoph has higher ceilling than Budinger and Hill. As a rockets fan, I will always cheer for them, and it doesn't matter what kind of players they have. But, sometimes, you really wants see some real talent on the roster to develop. Anthony Randoph has great potential, and I do believe that Mchale can help him to develop mentally as bigs.
Coach RA really likes some of the players on the current rockets' roster and Kmart, Cbudinger as offensive power. ARandoph and Wes Johnson are the only two players on that roster I am interested in and possible targets (Don't dream about KLove and Rubio, Kahn won't trade them no matter how stupid he is. Derrick williams on the other hand is somewhat possible).
Do they still have their first round pick in 12? If they want Martin, that's the least they have to put in the offer, considering that Martin is playing the same as he use to.
Overall, I think before trade deadline this year, Dmorey will do something! especially 2012 draft is so deep that we can get our future star from. Bottom line we are still around the 8 to 11 seed in the West and even if we make to the playoff, I don't see us go really far.
So I will be patient while enjoy our rockets play the rest of the season. I enjoy our team play no matter it is a win or loss.

I think after the Minny game, RA would be more persuasive in landing a Rocket like Martin or Bud, and Williams and Randolf for a Martin Bud would be fair imo.

Also these situation in the Bucks has me intrigued. I wonder if Bogut it attainable now.

highly doubt they would trade bogut for that but if we could pull off those trades, i would definitely buy season tickets.

I posted earlier a trade of T Will for Asik. I believe that would make both teams a lot better, and the salaries are almost the same (T Will has about 2 and some change while Asik is sitting at around 1.8) But I guess it was too obvious for anyone on here to quote

    Rockets and Jazz trade

In my opinion, with the Jazz looking to unload one big to have some cap space and make room for Favors and Kanter to develop Big Al is the odd one out. Millsap is playing too good and younger so it's the logical choice.

They also want to get rid of Harris so why not trade facilitate a 3 or 4-way deal so everybody can get what they want. I tried a few and think this is best solution theoretically:

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=72ttmsv

This to me is not a fantasy at all since it would help all teams:
    - Rockets get a needed big PF and big name + Gibson who can at least shoot the three and back up Lowry with Dragic leaving
    - Jazz unload Harris and Big Al, a lot of money, and Dragic could definitely handle starting + Martin could provide some scoring at SG for them. They have enough bigs to cover up Martin's defensive deficiencies.
    - Pacers get a good PG in Harris who is a veteran and can help Collisson and the other young pg
    - Cavaliers get a good PF and can play him next to Varejoa and try to get rid of Jamison or Scola provide good back-up minutes. They get Jones to compensate for Gibson.

Please don't move this to random as I really see a possibility here with us wanting to get rid of Scola & Martin for the right player.

    Goddamnit.

This is not an actual trade. This has nothing to do with reality. There is already a thread for these sorts of fantasy scenarios.
