AirDroid lets me access my tablet via PC. I can dump music to the tablet sure, but I want to stream it. I have 80GB+ of music.
Are you saying that from personal experience, or you're just regurgitating talking points? In my experience Flash on mobile has worked quite smoothly on pretty much every device I've used it on - no less smooth than on a regular desktop PC. And when you have a really powerful device like the Galaxy S II for instance, you can load even extremely complex flash sites with nary a hiccup ... sometimes it amazes me that the phone seems to outperform my laptop at times on those sites.
Yeah I love flash games. I hate my iPad2 doesn't have it because I have to pay for games that I can just download in .swf form for any device that supports flash.
I have an ipad2 that I could live with. Its lack of flash is a hindrance at times, but otherwise, it's really nice. My dad has a galaxy tab 7.0plus that he loves. He uploads all of his Korean dramas on there and watches it if he goes on vacation or to the mall with my mum
You tech savvy enough to set up your own server? If so, I highly recommend Subsonic. http://www.subsonic.org/pages/index.jsp You can stream your entire music collection onto your Android or iOS device
If you use PDF's and need a reader that allows you to use/create/upload/download annotations I highly recommend this. Downloaded a txt book from Arrgh and it's a PDF, and I wanted to be able to highlight, leave notes on it etc. It's amazing. https://market.android.com/details?...=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsInVkay5hbmRyb2lkLnJlYWRlciJd
It never ran smoothly on my Nexus S. Hell, even just simple browsing on my Nexus S was a bad experience.
Yeah, for work i often have to work with various Android phones. I have an iphone. I own a Windows 7 based Iconia w500, a Fire and a Touchpad. So I've had exposure of some sort to almost all of them. 'No Flash!' IMO *is* a regurgitated talking point and will only continue to get minimized for mobile devices. Much of the Flash content - especially the games - are simply built for a keyboard and/or mouse interface. And that's without even touching on performance and battery issues. I've never been impressed with it and I think it's going to vary from person to person but my browsing habits on devices without Flash are very rarely interrupted. Now that Adobe has let it go it's only going to continue to get less relevant on mobile devices. Also, if your phone actually runs smoother than your laptop...it might be time for a new laptop.
