Did McHale just outcoach Adelman tonight?

Yep. Not sure why we're the only commenting on it. Look at Rubio holding his neck and Love squinting after the game. They just got their asses kicked, figuratively and literally. Maybe the team is pissed cuz Mchale got booed by the crowd LOL. I dunno why they booed Mchale, compared to the job Kahn has done Mchale was like Jerry West during his time there.

McHale makes better adjustments than Adelman.

Rick stuck with the same players and strategy win or lose.

This. That Wolves roster aside from Love and Rubio doesn't scare anybody. McHale did a good job countering but let's be honest we have way more talent and have been together longer.

One thing Bull mentioned and was painfully obious was that they don't run any high post offense. I saw a lot of one on one and isolations. If it wasn't fo Love this game would have been uglier for them.

Ha...I no fantasy sports for me, thanks.

Sincerely though...did you watch the game? Lowry was in the spot that centers and PF's typically are for all of the free throws in the last 4 minutes of the game. I think there was a conscious effort on the part of the team to get the triple for Lowry -- which is totally fine with me, by the way. Things like that help the season stay fun for those guys.

I'm gaining a lot of respect for McHale, which in turn is making me gain even MORE respect that I already had for Morey.

Then again, on the heels of a 7-game winning streak, everything is roses. But we look good in every way right now given the personnel we have.

Parsons in particular was playing rough. I kept noticing how hard he fouled and how he threw his body into other players on loose balls -- only minimally pretending to go after the ball.

I liked it...but that, along with Martin and Scola's floppiness...I don't know...does it seem a little Sloan era Utah Jazzy to anyone else?

He was never in any of the 2 spots closest to the basket.

I love the fact that Mchale looks for the best collection of players and rotations. So far, he hasn't had pet players. The guys that compete hard every single game get the PT. He also doesn't mind riding the hot hand.
I don't think any of that was intentional. They're just playing hard on the defensive end and McHale is rewarding them with playing time.

I would easily trade our last 5 players for Mini's 3.

    Goran+Kyle+Martin+Lee+Pat

    for

    Rubio+Love+Williams.

NOW, tell me if that was not about strategy.

This wasn't the tune posters here were singing before the season started. A lot of posters were saying how much potential the T-wolves team has (4 top 5 picks in the roster) and how Rick Adelman is the HOF coach who can extract that potential. The wolves were supposed to flourish under Adelman and contend for a playoff spot, while the Rox hired McFail to tank and basically satisfy Les' urge to get big names.

I don't have the time and patience to look up necro threads but its all there, including guys complaining about how Twolves have direction and franchise stars while we are stuck in mediocrity.

To flip it all now and say that everyone knew the Rox had the better team all along is just BS. Mchale and his staff are doing a much better job coaching this season, that's just the truth.

Must be said that Minnesota has out for today: Webster, Beasley, Miller, Wes Johnson, Barea and M.Lee.

Sure $10? Though even if he was, he was the 2nd best rebounder out there behind Pat.

I agree, he belonged in the spot, and I was certainly not criticizing it...just a point of order thing.

I'll do what I can to find a video and post here when I do.

So two out of the eight man rotation? One team won 17 games last year while the other won 43. You're right that puts both teams on equal fields

Mchale will bench you and not give a f**k.

Kevin Martin only came in because Chandler had 5 fouls. Adelman would see that Martin has 20 gazillion points in the first half and try to duplicate the same magic in the 2nd. We know Martin will be useless after an extraordinary half of ball. Just glad Mchale realized this and Luis being dominated and made the necessary adjustments.

Plus Parsons being able to guard 3s and 4s makes Mchale look like a genius when he goes small.
