    Android also has Exchange security.

I will also add that Samsung's Email and Calendar Android apps integrate better with Outlook/Exchange than any other mobile app I've seen not named Touchdown.

Yeah, I know they do. I was simply stating that on the iPad, Exchange provides decent security if available to you

You're right about that, especially on the GS2. However, on ICS exchange has gotten so much better. You can now search the GAL, and even do a server side search of your e-mail. Folder structure is also a lot better especially if you have a ton in Outlook.

Before I was on ICS I was using Touchdown, and it's great. I just don't like the ugly looking UI but that's just me

Oh, and if you're an Exchange admin. Now, ICS supports a whole lot more group policies.
One of the ones I like is the ability to disable attachments for certain groups of employees. (I'm not 100% sure if it's new , but I first noticed it when I got my Nexus and set my active directory profile to use that policy)

Back then on Froyo and Gbread, group policies were scattered around the place in terms of whether it worked or not and not every device supported the same ones

If you like apple. Stick with them and their proprietary.....

Otherwise, I'd recommend going to Android. You can stream anything on the Galaxy. It has full flash 11, so you can stream from any websites like firstrow.tv

That's the big deal breaker for me. No flash on the iPad.

There is flash on the IPAD.....thru 3rd party browsers like Skyfire. Flash is dying....even Adobe is going to abandon it.

He has been saying it since 2007. I could do that with anything and eventually have it come true. They just released Flash 11.

In my family, I have two Ipads and a Touchpad with Android. Here are the pros and cons of each.

    Ipad

    Pros -
simple to use that even a 2 year old can use it.
    lots of apps
    responsive

    Cons -
    Sucky Browser
    No Flash
Can't easily add files to it
    itunes

    Android

    Pros -
    Better browser
Google apps run better on it
    flash support
    Can customize everything
    Plenty of apps
    side loading

    Cons -
    not as simple
UI is not as intuitive for non techies
Touch can be quirky. You have to click twice sometimes.

I tend to use my HP Android tablet more because I know websites will actually work on it. Even though Flash may go away in a few years, there are still a whole bunch of flash sites out there and its nice to be able to use them. Lots of streaming sport and TV sites that will work on Android that just doesn't on the Ipad. For instance, ESPN gamecasts work on my Touchpad. By the time Flash goes away, there will be even better Android tablet on the market and until then I have to option to browse the entire internet instead of ~90 percent of it.

What do I even do with a Galaxy Tab? What apps? How do I get it to read the music folder on my PC over wifi? How do I make it run faster?

With a Galaxy phone I change the launcher, uninstall bloatware, customize... with the tablet... not so sure where I should start.

    Download AirDroid
    https://market.android.com/details?...t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5zYW5kLmFpcmRyb2lkIl0.

You can run ADW EX on a tablet as a replacement launcher.

Wifi? USB Plug and Play is the easiest and best way to access files/folders.

Flash on a mobile device OS is awkward, janky and unimpressive because most of the sites that implement it didn't take any touchscreen interfaces into account. Adobe giving up on it is no surprise. It's a talking point for debates at this point and even that will fade away soon.
