Hate to say it... But NY gonna win again... That front 4 is murderers row.... It's gonna be alot of quick 5-7 yard passes for New England... Quite boring

The Giants have a great defense.

The Pats let freaking Baltimore score 20 points on them.

The Giants will win...defense and takeaways win championships.

i don't see NE keeping the giants from not putting up a ton of points. And although NE can do the same, I think the Giants' defense can get the stops when needed.

Either way, it's a bad year to be Peyton. Either his brother will have bragging rights or Tom Brady will overtake him on the argument who is better

i think at this point the giants are the more balanced team. i also believe they have more physical talent. the giants beat the pack and the 9ers to get to the Super Bowl . i would be surprised if big blue doesn't take this. anyone thinking the giants will be held to 7 points is completely out of their mind.

Disagree completely. The Giants have a great front four... they do not have a great defense. There's a reason they were the No. 27-ranked defense in the league during the season, No. 29 against the pass. It's a far cry from how good they were four years ago (when they beat New England) - #7 overall, #11 against the pass.

Honestly, that game yesterday shouldn't even have been close... the Niners were 1-for-13 on third downs! Alex Smith was mostly terrible. But a pair of typical NYG secondary breakdowns gave Vernon Davis two long touchdowns, and that was enough to keep San Fran in it. Think Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez noticed that?

I think the Super Bowl will be a good game, because the Pats' defense is bad enough for NYG to put up some points. But I think Brady feasts on a bad New York secondary and puts up a few more. You have to remember, the Pats are built very differently than they were four years ago. Part of the reason the NYG front four was so disruptive against the Pats was that the offense was built around Randy Moss and the big play. It rattled NE when they didn't have time to let their usual routes develop. These Patriots, however, are about moving the chains... with Gronkowski, Hernandez, Welker and Branch, it's an offense built around seam and underneath routes.

It's a completely different style for the Patriots than '07, and I think it'll expose the Giants' secondary shortcomings that were present all year long.

the 9ers should have won that game, but they didn't. san fran missed a golden opportunity to get a title.

same thing should be said for Baltimore. They gave NE the game.

Just like the Texans gave the Ravens the game.

I meant with the 4 remaining teams, this was the best available.

Brady already passed Manning. Brady is playing for GOAT. Can tie Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw with 4 Super Bowl victories.

It's still debatable at this point. Peyton's greatness is lifted by how bad the colts were this season.

Thought Giants are gonna win it all before the playoffs began; sticking with my pick.

It'll be a high scoring game, but Giants will be able to put pressure on Brady and force a couple turnovers.

Take off Brady, how many games will Pats win? Take off Manning, colts is 2-14. Manning is worth 8 to 10 games by himself. I wonder how many championships would Manning have won if he was in NE and how many Brady would have won if he was in Indy.

The Matt Cassel experiment vs. the Curtis Painter experience certainly puts a new perspective on things.

Yup, Colts was kept at the top mostly due to Manning's ability alone for years, we are going to miss him when he is gone. Hopefully Luck will be Manning II.

I am usually very hesitant to pick winners, because so much can go wrong. But I will tell you this- I will bet my month's salary that New England takes this one, for numerous reasons. I haven't been this confident about picking a winner since Tampa Bay with Sapp and Gruden. Don't know why, just a pure gut feeling that there is no way New York pulls this one out. Their time is up.

This game could go either way, I don't know how you can be so confident. Maybe slight edge to Pats.

I think it would be fair to say their totals would flip.

I wonder how many Manning would have had if not for vanderjagt

    Two things:

    1) Part of me really wishes we could have seen what happened this year with a healthy Manning. I really felt like the Colts were on the edge, regardless. They were very fortunate to post a 10-6 mark in 2010, and had a ton of vets that were beginning substantial declines. I wouldn't have been surprised by a 7-9 mark, even with Manning.

    2) Matt Cassel isn't garbage. In the one year that he was surrounded by decent talent in KC (2010), he threw for 27 TDs, 7 INT and a QB rating of 93. Curtis Painter, on the other hand, is simply atrocious... as Texans fans already knew after the Colts pulled Manning (for Painter) in Week 16 of the 2009 season against the Jets, keeping us out of the playoffs.

I understand your point, and there's some validity there... but the '09 Pats/'11 Colts situations are more different than some folks give them credit for.

New England 37 NY Giants 17

Brady will get his. Too bad for the Giants. I was pulling for the G-Men last time, great game, loved it, but they will need slightly less than a miracle for a second trophy. No miracle this time as Brad won't let this happen again. The Patriots have more motivation this time as this game is what they wanted, putting history back on balance, and correcting the blemish. 5 superbowls in 11 years. Wow.
