Since the trade the Knicks are 20-28, Nuggets on the other hand are 31-16. I wonder when the 'give them time to mesh' excuse is going to die.
As of 1/22/12, the Knick are 6-10. If the season ended today, the Knicks would make the playoffs as the #8 seed in the East.
Boston beating on the Wizards 49-40 at the half. If they keep this up for another 2 quarters, the Knicks dropped to the 9th seed today. Rondo has not recovered from his injury. He is not playing today.
one way to improve the knicks pick is to make trades w bucks and celtics to improve them short term. send boston chase for stiesma and pick send hill to bucks for delfino and 2nd rounder
Little chance of that happening I think. I'm not even sure how they drop out of the play-offs in that conference.
Not sure how I feel about these trades, but I like your thinking about trading to help Boston/Milwaukee. Has anything like this ever been done before? It's almost too clever by half.
Celtics wins. They move up the standings to the 7th seed. Paul Pierce and KG sealed the win. Rondo is still out with an injury. Knicks drop into a tie for the 9-10th seed with Bucks. Knicks need 1 win to tie and 2 wins to pass the Celtics.
Man, Morey got us a real gift here. Perry Jones, Terrence Jones and Meyers Leonard might be in that range.
I have no faith in Cleveland holding a playoff spot all year. I hope Milwaukee can sneak in despite them having a brutal schedule coming up.
Milwaukee will sneak in, now that Bogut is back. Most of the losses were the result of playing Drew Gooden at center, when Bogut was injured. Gooden is not a legit C. They are good enough to make the 8th spot. 0-5 Without Bogut 5-3 With Bogut
OT: Probably not going to happen, but every team in the East that is seeded 6th or higher is winning at least 70% of their games, if they all were able to keep that pace. Atlanta could end up with 46 wins or more wins equivalent to 57 wins in 82 game season, while they could easily end up being a 6th. It would be the first time, such a team did not have home-field in the first round.
I really like all 3 players, but if we got that high ... I would consider passing on them more sure thing players out there. Too much bust potential, yet at the same time, if they fall in draft, we should draft them.
