Many factual inaccuracies in the article as well. The national defense act won't be available to Romney or Obama next year....it's a one year bill!!!

If only McCain and Palin had won everything would be perfect.

One thing going for Gingrich is he kind of looks like a hydrocephalic McCain with a toupee.

But as for Obama, I think MadMax nailed it. Stimulus averting Depression II, Bin Laden and decimation of Al Qaeda, (and I'd add Libya), the positive bits of the healthcare bill (the donut hole closing and youth remaining on parents plans, etc), and all this is the face of an entire half of government saying their only goal was to do the exact opposite of the president.

I think it's sad that he won't have a good competitor, and even sadder than the "liberal" (harr!) media will hold them up as equal options. We need a very good issue-based presidential race with two excellent candidates.

What I'll never, ever understand about Obama is: how can you be such a good campaigner but then such a bad communicator in non-campaign times?

It's like Jekyl/Hyde (sp) where he rolls up his sleeves and talks real talk to people and then turns back into a stuffy professor of constitutional law.

Well sure - if you ignore all the things that are different and only repeat the things that are same, then he's the same as Bush. By that definition, unless he did everything differently than Bush, he's the same? We still have a Congress - see, NO CHANGE. We still have 50 states. But he promised CHANGE!

There's also never been a Congress that used the filibuster on every single bill, small or large, as this Congress has. You've never needed 60 votes to pass everything before.

But that still ignores that HCR and FinReg were two of the biggest policy accomplishments in the last 20+ years. So the idea that he got nothing done is ridiculous. It also flies in the face of the GOP's "he's the most dangerous President in history" argument. If he can't accomplish anything, he can't be particularly dangerous.

This is a great point. Even though our political slogans are now operating at a 2nd grade level, your average 2nd grader can see the conflict between:

(*) He can't get anything done.
(*) He is the most scariest super-powerful dangerous villain ever.

I'm with Invisible Fan on this one.

Seriously, you're looking at the past 20 years of presidential history as your only sample to make a claim that the past 2 presidents are the worst two?

Get a library card. Or a Kindle. STAT!

I don't know why you lefties are ganging up on the OP, he is one of you, Barry is not liberal enough for the OP.

BTW- Barry is done as the clown-in chief, Nov 6th can't get here soon enough. As a musician I think Barry has a future as a crooner...heck, I even let him sing with me in my little band!

You've never heard of it, because there's never been the use of the filibuster & other procedural devices the way the GOP has in history.

    It's literally without precedent.

I could care less about the OP's political affiliations.

I would just prefer that more of you put some thought and time into your grandiose statements on the Internet. (Yeah, that's going to happen)

I do find it interesting that would you deem me a "leftie" because I encouraged a fellow poster to expand his education.

Is ignorance bliss, Steve-o? From the looks of your rants, I would say you are probably qualified to answer the question.

Job growth has increased under the Obama administration.

    That is a fact.

Then you are an Idiot. Obama saved the country from a DEPRESSION. Set the foundation for healthcare for all (needs to go MUCH farther), and GOT bin Laden:cool:

Bush? Started 2 Wars.......didn't accomplish the goal in either, Built up the record debt, and allowed his cronies to crash the financial system, and generally left a huge MESS.

Takes time to fix 8 years of ****ups and one of the worst economic collapses in our history. Maybe if one party would stop opposing every thing the president does (or come up with a jobs bill on their own) it would be higher.

food stamp president??...wow... I see it hurts you deep inside .... Go see your gynecologist and STFU!!!!

People callin him the worst president, obviously, believed the game he was running.. He doing the same thing any other candidate would have done if they had won.. People mad and ****...LOL... Move on folks.. Inheriting a ****ed up situation , is nothing new for a President... But inheriting the economic and political situations he did, was damn near unheard of.... He should be applauded that he didn't quit on you mfers and use his own bailout plan..LOL...
