How do you guys think will win Rook of the year?

I can't decide between Rubio and Kyrie.

Add Marshon Brooks to that mix. Although it'll most likely go to Rubio or Irving because their team is doing better.

If Rubio takes Minnesota to the playoffs it's a lock. With the hype(deserved from what I've seen) and the fact that Cleveland will be on the outside looking in, he has to win.

    too early so far.

kyrie had 5 straight 20 point games awhile back and has clevleand in the 7th spot in the east.

if he keeps that up and leads the cavs to the playoffs, then who knows.

If Rubio wins, then 3 guys from the 2009 draft class will have won rookie of the year.

kyrie is quietly putting up solid stats, but Rubio seems to have the biggest impact on his own team and is the most impressive. He is fun to watch and I hope he gets it. IT will be the first time that one draft has 3 rookie of the year winners.

Cavs are 6-9 and Wolves are 7-9. I think Rubio may get it based on popularity but Kyrie is scoring a lot more and much more effiently, 17 pts at 48% from the field, and 42% from 3, while Rubio is a more well rounded playmaker and better defender. Rubio does have the advantage of a much better coaching staff and better teammates. He's playing with a big numbers All-Star while Kyrie is stuck with scrubs. It may be a tight race.

Face value in a few years time people will hail this as one of the most talented drafts since it produced 3 rookie of the years.

The Rockets have 4 lottery pick in this draft, and none of them are panning out.

Rubio is top 10 in steals and assists as a rookie. Last 5 games hes averaging 12 points, 9 assists, 5.5 rebounds, 4 steals. He needs to improve his scoring for sure, but he impacts the game in so many ways. His defensive savvy is really impressive, unexpected

I think Rubio because - Rubio is actually running his team and already making guys and his team better. He makes a huge difference to the team.

I dont think Irving has the same impact for the Cavs.

Irving. Rubio has many good teammates like Love, Barea, Beasley compared to Irving's Jamison and Sessions.

This. Irving is also more consistent. 50%fg (Rubio 39.9%) and 42.5% 3pt (Rubio 40.6%), 80% (Rubio 80.3%) ft is pretty huge for a rookie that shoots that much. He rarely has these games where he straight up chokes like Rubio did in the last few. He has no Love, Ridnour, Williams, Wes Johnson, Ellington to feed, he would average more assists in Minny.
His 3.6 tpg are a bit much though seein how he averages only 4.9 apg(Rubio 8.3 apg with 3.2 tpg). Think he also has to improve his spg, only 0.7 thus far.

The only way I see Rubio winning ROY is if he becomes a consistent scorer and carries Minny to a way better record than Cleveland.

his defensive savvy actually was expected. Just most nba folks could not accept that.

It's Irving's award to lose... But Rubio will be a star... And teams like the Lakers will be stalking him when he becomes available.... Rubio in a Laker uni will revitalize that franchise....

the cavs depend on kyrie more than the timberwolves rely on rubio.

kyrie is the cavs leading scorer and does not have the best PF in the league on his team.
