Parker just has Lowry's number, but it doesn't mean he's better. I've watched a few Spurs games this season and he's just invisible sometimes. Lowry will make an impact every game.

Parker is way better than Lowry, he is a proven championship PG and an all star level one as well.

Lowry is just getting started, and is slow laterally, Parker can get by him with ease.....

I'll give you the bullet. Elliot has to be the most annoying homer announcer by far.

Not this time, Parker is so much faster than Lowry, and Lowry's D has slipped considerably this year as his offensive requirements have skyrocketed.

His D has been pretty bad lately...PGs are blowing by him pretty easily....he looks tired to me.

Being tired is a condition. You can say Parker outplayed him today or these 5 games but that doesn't mean Parker is on another level.....
Lowry's PER dropped but he was one of the best and just below Rose the first 14 games.
Parker is good but he was never on the same level as prime CP3 or Deron. Period.

Please don't talk to me about PER, that is a made up stat that has very little real value.

Exactly!! I thought Dalmebert was goin to be solid but I didnt think he would be playin like a borderline all-star hes playin like a top 10 center right now

Ok.... still he was putting up stats....to back it up..... funny that Dalembert, Courtney Lee had a high PER as well and that helped us win.....

All the players that made a DIFFERENCE in the winning games had a high PER.

It took Parker 23 shots to get 24 points.. You are wrong again. If the name on the back of the jersey read "Brooks" and not "Lowery" you would be praising him.

I like Lowry, but I will point out flaws of any player, including my favorites, of which, BTW, Lowry is one.

I think his D has slipped significantly, but the caveat for me is I think he is tired.

It is not only the minutes, but the guy is the catalyst for our entire offensive system.....Kyle needs help.

I think DD is always going to be weary of Lowry, no matter what.

    Player A is averaging 17pts 7 assists 3 rbs 1 stl
    Player L is averaging 17pts 9 assists 7 rbs 2 stl

which would you say is better?

Now take into consideration one is 29 yrs old making $12.5 million a year
and the other is 25 yrs old making $5.8 million a year.

R.C. Buford wishes he had player B.

I would say that Lowry is the better overall player (more impact on wins) than Parker just slightly and has much better value in the league considering age/upside/salary.

Know and appreciate what you have.

PER is simply a combination of different stats which I'm sure you do value. You probably don't even know the formula, DD, so how would you know if it has value?

Rockets get the W but it seems on th BBS they lost the game because they did not blow out the Spurs which did not play Duncan. Parker played well because that what is called on him to do. He always does this once Manu is out he picks up his scoring. Once Manu is back he will go back to his PG role on the team.

When Hollinger pointed out that Budinger held his opposing matchup to a below average PER as a starter last year you lapped it up.
