Ive mentioned the exact same thing before. They will be kicking them selves. They were hott before they made that trade. Felton/Shumpert/Davis? Fields/Douglas Galo/Chandler Stat/JJ/ Chandler/Mozgov Its very possible if they didnt make the trade - they could have still got both Chandlers,Davis and Shawne Williams too. Even with the lower draft pick they would have snatched Shumpert from other passing on him. Donnie Walsh was against making the trade at that time. Jimmy Dolan came in and screwed it all up. Such a failure reeks of Isisah Thomas, I'm sure he was whispering in Dolan's years.
The problem with your analysis is that they don't actually have any superstars. This is what lots of us were saying when people were clamoring for Melo last year, he's not a superstar.
looks like another loss for NY pick is sure looking good as the games go by, keep it up choke artists!!
Melo is the sole key to the fate of our pick. If he continues his 30 shot, 25 point performance, our pick is looking great.
This NYK-Den game has been crazy. Melo essentially got them back in the game in regulation with some crazy shots, but no one else tried to do anything and came back to bite them. Again, where is Stat? It was like he didn't even exist on the court. Gallo & Jefferson were clutch with some of those shots, Nene hitting 2 game tying FT's, and Miller's desperation 3 from 28 ft out. But they were lucky to get away with this game after letting the Knicks back in. Knicks have NO leader and no half court offense, and it is the most apparent thing right now.
Amar'e Stoudemire has had 0 field goal attempts in the 4th quarter, 0 attempts in the 1st overtime, and 0 in the 2nd overtime.
