Them's mighty close to AB numbers! And when AB was on the court that one good season, the Rockets had the worst offense they've had since the Mo Taylor days. That's the point, he puts up numbers but is a black hole.
In most places I would agree with you. But NY is NY. And like Miami, I can foresee amnesty players and FA's playing for cheap there. They seem only a couple consistent role players and some chemistry away from being good again.
I've never bought into the Brandon Jennings hype, even after his eruption against the Warriors last year. If he ever makes an All-Star game it will be a fluke. But in all fairness, if he weren't scoring like he is, the Bucks would probably be 2-12 instead of 5-9. Bogut still isn't himself (and may never be). The Bucks need Jennings to be aggressive because the other options aren't very good. I find them incredibly hard to watch. It's almost painful.
http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/NYK/ NY is NY, but NY managed to be below .500 every year between 2001 and 2011 despite being NY.
You might want to look at the players and offense AB played with and then Look at the players and offense that Jennings plays with.
Stoudemire and Melo are bad attitude, low IQ, low tier stars, and they're showing why. Was never in favor of picking them up because the price was going to be way more than they were actually worth and I knew it. Also D'Antoni is a terrible coach. Looking good for our pick!
yup...you are. They are what you've seen the last 4-5 games. Their offense is horrible, and doesn't get all their players involved. No chemistry between Melo and Amare. Talented team that's only using 50% of their potential.
HowardBeckNYT Howard Beck [rquoter]Carmelo very reflective tonight. Wondered aloud if he's shooting too much, or should pass more and whether he's to blame for losses. Carmelo is shooting 35 for 105 over last four games, all since spraining left wrist and right foot. More bad news for Knicks: Josh Harrellson broke his wrist and will miss approx six weeks. Thin bench gets thinner. Also, Shumpert again suffered cramping, in legs and back. Told me he took IV fluids after the game. Ongoing issue for him. On the good news side: I'm told that Monday is target for Baron to practice for first time, barring a setback in next day or so.[/rquoter]
He was back last year. WHo the hell do you think pushed the NY trade, and destroyed Walsh's 3 year building plan?
Didn't realize Gallinari scored 37 pts on that game. LOL the schadenfreude is so sweet. I don't have anything against Melo but ever since AI retired I think he embodies all the things I hate about NBA players. Even the whole complaining about being punked is hilarious considering he was caught doing "don't snitch" videos and sucker punching other players and faking that he got knocked unconscious by KD.
